But the higher the price, the fewer copies are spread and the advatage is higher for the buyers.
What do you have new to sell today?

What do you think ? or would it expose too much your methods ? (i don't know how far people can go with disassembly)

Once my work has been spread, ppl will disassemble and learn and the advantage is lost.

Ok that's what i though, what a shame Sad, thanks anyway  Cool

Hey sp_,

I have a suggestion, to be able to test out your miners before purchasing, would it be possible for you to make a special version just for testing where you have all parameters locked out aside from "-i" and "-d", this way we could test the hashrate improvement using your own pool/wallet before purchasing your miner. Or maybe make a benchmark version only to see the hashrate, but it would be less representative.

What do you think ? or would it expose too much your methods ? (i don't know how far people can go with disassembly)

Cheers

Just curious, what cards are your currently mining with? I remember you've had a lot of 1060/3 cards but don't recall the details and whether you've got any other gpus (I mean, not just for testing, but in large quantities).

I've been mining since 2013 and all the profit has been invested into new hardware. My farm is currently mining with gtx 750,750ti,950,960,970,980ti,  1050,1050ti,10603gb,1060 6gb,1070 and 1070ti +amd cards

550Mh/s 600Mh/s and no 1080ti cards.. My farm is currently mining 6 coins.
My private lyra2z kernel is currently doing 440 Khash on the 750ti with +200 on the coreclock (msi gaming).
I tested djm34's opencl kernel on the AMD g1 gaming 390. -I 19 and --worksize 32 gave 450 KHASH@250 watt Anybody got a bether number for AMD cards? They can barely beat the old 750ti's with 6x the power usage..

so sp_mod is trying a new miner for lyra2z with 550Mh/s which means he has 168 GTX 1080Ti?

#14 was very stable for me. BTW, current profitability of SPR is pretty good Wink though my rigs usually mine other coins.

Wich version of the spreadminer are you running? The latest is #14 and only works on the latest drivers.

I'd to see SPRreadcoin miner cuda9 update.
Is it going to be?
Current version is extremely buggy and unstable, so it never ROIed for me.
I just can't keep it running more than 6 hours.
sp_ kept recommending adding better PSU, lower OC, change drivers, but it did not change anything.
The worst purchase I ever made.

Total hashrate is only 2.79THs
Yep, when I see something like this I point my miners at it and go to sleep. When I wake up I see that the diff went up 2+ times and I don't have nearly as many coins as I was hoping for. Happens to me all the time. Cheesy And in the long run it just nets me less than btx.

It remains low at smartcash hashrate for quite a long time. Smartcash soon introduces smartnodes and listed on Venezuela Monkeycoin exchange.

it does sometime, but at the end, the total coin will be approximately the same as expected.

I sometime during the nice hash, I switch to other coin and come back.
Well, it's been happening to me for a few days in a row, so I eventually just gave up and switched to Bitcore. Been getting more from mining BTX than from Smartcash before. I also tried mining smartcash solo, but didn't have much luck for some reason. Spent 3 or 4 days on that and got a lot less coins than I was getting from the pool before. Could've been luck, I don't know..

Same with Neoscrypt coins. When NH joins, everything gets fucked up. Not only skyrocketed diff, but also your miner starts switching between coins by itself, loosing hashrates.
That is confirmed yyimp-like pools issue, I hope it will be fixed soon
