I have an asrock z97 extreme 6 with a g3258 pentium 5x 1070s on pcie x1 usb risers and Win 10. ANY miner other than sp-mod 3 crashes after sometimes a few minutes sometimes a few hours and I can't figure out why. SP-MOD 3 will run for days or weeks without an issue but any zec miner or anything else seems to crash. I run SP-MOD 3 highly overclocked and everything else at stock clocks. I upped the ram from 8gb to 16gb and increased pagefile size. When it crashes it just hard locks and won't respond, no bluescreen so no real clues as to whats happening. Any help would be appreciated.
I restart before changing any algo and am using w7 'cause w10 often behave strange with 1070s. I think that lacks miners optimisation and there is some strange correlation w10/video drivers. Did you try reinstalling drivers?

There was a guy in the SA v5 thread talking about installing Python and it just runs. I'm not sure exactly how he was doing it as he doesn't state how he's doing it besides those two things, but you can find it in the thread.

There is a Optiminer thread which is advertising 175sol on a Nano.

I'm going back to Ethereum... again, Equihash is a fucking mess rightnow. You don't know if you're going to be making money in a couple hours the way releases and updates are coming out. That and it seems as though everything is for AMD and Nix. It was mineable for a bit there with ZC's miner, but now that's worthless.

MSVC don't know timespan but timeval but also i struggle with CLOCK_MONOTONIC.

Any ideas

I will release LBRY sp-mod #4 today to the donators. It has a nice boost on the gtx 1060 series and a small boost on the other models, some fixes in the fee code and a faster pascal modded skein kernel as well as a bonus..

The fee is reduced to 3/120 (2.5%)

3 minutes for me, 117 for you

Yay... If only this happened months ago.

Here is a windows build..
I haven't tried it yet or checked for viruses..

I just uploaded a new version of my Windows build of SILENTARMY v5:

https://mega.nz/#F!iwYQhI6S!2vl0D3jz3fH3-bZxHUurBg

This *should* work with NVIDIA cards.
If it doesn't, please let me know with as much information as possible.

Sofar i get response from AVAST Lab no virus found. But the build don't work for me.
It finds the devices but nothing happens

Seems like you guys with 1060/1070 are better off going back to dual mining ETH.

there is actually a 80-90 sol miner available, from silentarmy, very akin to amd, still nvidia can go as high as 134, really strange that no one besides djm34 figured it out yet...

Silentarmy doesn't reach those speeds on Nvidia army. Also DJMs miner was never confirmed, so no we don't know if it can reach 'as high as 134'.

a guy reported a 86 sol for is 1070, pallas quoted, it i don't remember if he posted it here or in another thread, but it was definitely silentarmy miner

djm34 proved it with a screen on nicehash, he was mining at 134 there, if he faked very well the screen i don't know, but i don't see why it should be not possible to reach those speed

well he worked kernel from the start, not taking a easy route tweaking open source kernels which are not so good it seams

It consumes a ridiculously large amount of memory. Pretty sure you're getting a out of memory crash... It probably even tells you that. Increase your pagefile size to something around 50GB if you have 6x 1070s.

default thread does not work for me, it result in a crash, that's why i wasn't sure anymore what was the number of thread to use, everything above 6 and it crash

so basically it work only from 1 to 6

Less threads means it's going to run slower. In order to run at full speed you need to have default threads set.

Hopefully Nicehash adds a dev fee and allows you to use their miner elsewhere, I suggested that in their thread. Not worth using it over ZC's miner until they change that.

Nvidia Zcash miner for Windows with dev fee:
https://forum.z.cash/t/cuda-equihash-miner-with-devfee/6492
1070 ~ 55 sol.
Did anyone try this?   Thx

Yes . Works with windows 7 but not with windows 10 .

2 gtx 1080 + 1 gtx 1060 => 165 sols/s .

Not bad ! But i suppose that it can be largely  improved !

On the other hand , overclocking has only a small impact on hashrate .

maybe i'm missing something but i'm doing only 230 sol with six 1070, what is the correct number of thread to use here?

Also have the same problem - (1) machine (2) evga gtx 1070 sc - 120 sols/s, (2) machine (5) evga gtx 1070 sc - 215 sols/s, (3) machine (5) evga gtx 1070 sc - 215 sols/s - very weird!

I've noticed some disparities in the zcminer as well.  I think it has something to do with Pcie bandwidth usage, and each motherboard / chipset handles it differently.  Otherwise, make sure you are on the latest Windows update and driver version.  Make sure nothing else is taxing the cpu.
