well, nicehash has integrated silent army in nheqminer.
Just compiled on windows. It works but also huge cpu usage and the half of the hash comparing to Genoil's.
Maybe it is due to my old amd app sdk (2.9-1, was not able to download 3.0 from amd site due to download errors in the middle) or the code needs some tuning ...
rednoW what is that silent army  plz?    thx

It is an equihash solver, but it is not a miner - so this solver must be integrated to miner.

Looks like mining at a pool is paying 30% more then nicehash.  whattomine.com

Its been like that since the pools got their shit sorted out, couple hours after release.  In general Nicehash pays shit for mining hash as it's dominated by bots that auto adjust the price to push it down as low as possible. Legit renters can't actually purchase hashing power without using fixed rates.

I sometimes open fixed buy orders if I think mining profitability on that algo might go up. If it happens I refill, if not I just cancel that order and loose some satoshis.

There have been some periods where NH has been paying better than mining ZEC if you count your earnings in BTC.

What happens to ZEC price if BTC dives now? Yes I know so OT but that's what this thread has been all about lately.

PS. I like djm ))

thinking of doing a crowd funding as usual...
new current speed 133sol/sec (yeah it changes fast Smiley still highly unoptimized

Damn that is fast.. I think I need to go back to the drawing board..

Do  you have a screenshot please?

here we go... : Grin (the number of sol is consistent with what gets reported by suprnova)

I have 29 h/sec and 59 sol/sec, and you have 6 h/sec and 133 sol/sec... Strange...
I use i6700 and 1080 card.
Wait a minute, the calculations are off from this image. The nonce is in sequential order until a new job arrives, then it resets to zero.

Now keep in mind that the solution rate per run for Equihash parameter (n=200, k=9) is approximately 1.87905. Therefore, a million runs of the solver with a random nonce should produce 1,879,050 solutions on average. This is actually consistent with the number of runs reported in the image above. The only problem is that it is 12 Sol/s; I am not sure how the 134 Sol/s is being calculated. Also, as far as ZCash’s implementation of Equihash is concerned, H/s = Sol/s. A hash is actually a hash of your solution set which is then compared against the target difficulty.

I think that we should all be on the same page when measuring solution rate, it would create less confusion.

In the last night i started to think about, and i think that i have found the reason for we (GPU MINERS: every one that mines with AMD and NVIDIA) don't get a better performance.

We now yours developers, we know they can develop a miner that makes 3 or 4 times more S/s, and they probably did it, but they don't release, Why?

I Think the answer is deep inside de Zcash. More precisally on the DEv team of the coin.

The devs since the concpet already told that they wanted a algo that are ASIC resistant and with GPU restrain, I can bet that all these interferences on gpu mining are their work.

I don't know if the Zcash dev team are paying to people don't make GPU mining at full speed, or if they say if anyone release a miner that outperformance a CPU they will change the algo ( Yes, before tha launch on the oficial Zcash forum zooko told one time this, if GPU's takeover the Hashpower they will change the algorithm.)

You can see the outcome of this at oinmine even the low diff ports are giving slow miner with 13sols/s 2000+ diffs shares..it started to become harder to mine.

Here it comes_:
https://mega.nz/#!NoJyXZ5Z!R5Aw39Eysdlc1xi-oJgAmBO1uP76iVX8DLgo5aLm0hs

Sources are from 10:00am GMT+1 ..
Just compiled for Pascal and Maxwell, OCL Support..but broken due silentarmy not yet implemented

Have fun
tried on 750Ti
 Speed [300 sec]: 1941.09 I/s, 0 Sols/s
:/

With cuda-tromp.dll taken from Z forum it works

I compiled it for SM61 and SM52 as I said you need to read :-D so not my fault but good you get it to work.
What rate to expect on a 980ti?  thx Smiley

980ti WILL GET 30+ Sols/s--

With NHeqminer, my 2x 980ti rig gets 60 Sols/s.  I don't mine with the CPU because it is a single-core (locked) Sempron.  It took a half day of tuning the clocks to get that.

On my Win 7 box, I get 45-50 Sols/s with a single 980ti and an i7 2600 CPU.  A mild core overclock with a memory overclock that is a 3-4x multiple of the core clock should get you there.       --scryptr
I get 32 on my 980ti no improvement ... if I had a 4 core cpu maybe.

Pride comes before a fall djm34. If you were truly smart you would see that your short term move to make a few bucks over a coin that is just DASH MK2 with no reputation and no structure is a serious mistake. There is money in this now and it is only a matter of time before competition brings on a new crop of devs. Operators like nicehash will continue to organise (collectivism is strength) and pay devs providing them with a career path. Code is cheap my fleet of 1070's is not. Within weeks mining this algo will be worth just the same as the rest. Then operators like me make the real profit over the long term, assuming of course the coin has any merit and with Zcash this remains to be seen. I am more than happy to pay a fair price for software ( I sent you .15 and you couldn't even be bothered to give me some simple advice), it is not my problem that you cant develop a viable distribution model. My capacity is growing exponentially (thanks to the fact I make my own power) and rest assured after seeing the way you have behaved I will never pay you for software again. You may also find the small fish around here might grow up with the same opinion. A smart old mentor of mine always said the easiest way to make a lot of money is to take a little bit from a lot of people.
Ho, you're the guy who contacted me through skipe. I told you right away that it wasn't for sell, then you sent me 0.15btc, then I told you again it wasn't for sell  Grin. But I still think you are running a nice operation, but not sure what you were expecting...

@djm34. One Question. When Claymore will release his 100s/s version, your miner would be not so overpower like now. Will you release or sell your version after Claymore's release ?

didn't he said that his miner still lack tons of optimization and it could reach 200? at that point even clymore will e obsolete, unless he also improve his amd version

Yeah and 130sol is bad? Put things into perspective a bit before you type dude. ~_~

Getting around 11-12 sol on a 750ti with this latest build in Linux

https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminer

Might be time to dust off those old 750 cards if you have any around
If you have a 4 core cpu.. you should get 19 sol/s.

Thanks for the tip, 19 sol/s per card would be a major boost and make it one of the more energy efficient cards around.

Are you running them in a 6 card rig?
No on a 4 core  ..and my 6 card rig only doing 63sol/s has a 2 core.  Undecided
