Which speed did you reach with GTX970 on DECRED?

Decred is currently paying 0.0065BTC /GHASHday. A single 980ti with the private miner @(2.5GHASH) will generate $6.5 per day as well .A single 750ti generates around  $1,33

I have alot of fiat invested.
I am waiting for my rigs to ROI. No profit yet... just ordered 300 more riser cables.. waiting for pascal.

well then i don't think 0.1 will make any difference if anything

Should have bought AMD cards, Would have been ROI by now (Ethereum).

I have sold most of my amd cards. but I have a few left.. NVIDIA cards are also ok for etherum. The cheap gtx 950 does 10mhash@60 watt

better to go with 970 22mega 147w, and you save on many rig, you have better density less psu, riser, MB, cpu etc
How much do you make with 22 mh/s please...at today's price..or how many coins?
Thx
22mhash will give you

0.54 eth per day. ($6.50)
Thx sp..... from Norway.... cool. Smiley

almost $200 a month for a single card, not bad, but you need to subtract the electricity, in my case is not cheap
Nice..not bad...... thx

TODAY'S RATE--

20-22MH/s earns $5.50 to $6.50 per day in Ethereum (ETH).       --scryptr

I'd highly, HIGHLY suggest not betting the farm right now. This is a highpoint for mining. Not sure you guys remember, but two months ago we were earning 50 cents on a 970. If Ethereum collapses, either through PoS or the market falling apart, that hashrate will go some where else to balance things out. Ethereum is the only thing absorbing it as there aren't any really big GPU coins besides it. X11/13/15 is ASIC/private kernels.

All we need is another mining rush like in '13.

Yes, and a lot of new people started mining as well. Once Ethereum gets out of the picture (one way or another) those miners will move elsewhere and will suck every big coin dry (eg. Decred). I think multipool profits will go way below 50 cents per 970.

Unless something big comes along or BTC skyrockets taking the alts with it (unlikely).
But those new miners will invest too.....so it all a question of balance.

It's bether to be a burger flipper than a troll on bitcointalk. If you come to my country ( the richest in the world) you will earn more flipping burgers than working for your government with a master degree..

That's the way it goes. Being a good miner isn't about who can come up with the most capital or but together the biggest operation, but who can weather the dry spots when everything gets squeezed by the overburdened amount of hashing. There have been two dry spells since cryptos took off. I'm still here, missing assets, as are other people.

Best time to invest is actually when things are at a low, rather then a high. You have hardware setup to take advantage of coins when things finally take off and hopefully if you can survive in that climate, you can survive at any time.

Hopefully Ethereum never goes PoS, but we'll see... It'll be a sad day as all the big coins will once again be ASIC/Private kernel/botnet driven. Ethereum is like a balloon holding a bunch of miners, when it pops, that water will go to every other container that can hold it, spilling over before finally reaching equilibrium again. Ethereum network is growing too so there are quite a few people snapping up hardware and deploying it. Eth right now is the equivalent GPU version of BTC.

I actually wager there are quite a few miners waiting for pascal and AMDs new GPU release. Networks are going to get wrecked after their release. This is like the calm before the storm.

well ethereum is not the only one that is profitable, there are ethereum clone which are also profitable, and a bunch of other like feathercoin and spreadcoin, and you have still decred
and even if all this will be non-profitable, you cna bet your ass that in another 6 months, there will be another ethereum

Of course there are many profitable coins but all of their hashrate combined is nothing compared to Eth.
Eth's total hashrate is the equivalent of 51000 GTX 970. And of course x11 is slowly getting out of the picture too.

this is true, but even if ethereum will die, another ethereum will emerge after a time frame of 3-6 months without profit, so i'm not worried
also many of those gpu will be sold when ethereum will be died, so the total network, of all the profitable coins with gpu, will adjust itself
