I just read an article some time ago. The litecoin payouts was halved, the exchangeprice was the same, and the global hashrate didn't go down. A journalist had interview some miners, and they told him they got an agreement with the powerplant to get free power in the offpeak hours. You can google it...

yes.

I compete with these. Don't want or need to sell anything:

The chinese farms have free elecricity now...

how do they get free electricity sp? ...

#crysx

I think it's surplus from the power plants.
Plus they are supported by the government.
I've seen a guy with a "personal" 80Kw hydro power plant... do you have a river in the backyard? :-)

-scryptr perhaps give it a test like this rpcallowip=192.168.*.* it might help you.
in the miner config file. This worked for me across four different routers I have inline.
All my main stuff is out in the shop "out back of the house" but I have also mined from
3 or 4 laptops inside my house while rigs mined in the shop. I have 3 wireless routers 1 main router plus cable modem.

thats quite interesting ...

so the last two address points can work with it - but not a wildcard 'just' on the last one ...

have you tried this with granite thewolf - or with other coins? ...

#crysx

Its worked with the few I've tested and found block in phoenixcoin being one of those.
This is how my phoenixcoin.conf looks. Most of the time I use the same .conf for other wallets
and edit it with changes to match the coin wallet and coin .conf name I'm working at the time.
No not with Granite yet, but I could test to find out and will let you know if someone doesn't try it before I can get the chance.

Also I could only find this release of the wallet at the link -scryptr left
GraniteCoin version v1.0.0.0 Release-final so I hope its up to date enough to except blocks?

Works across the network with the same command line.

tanx for that ...

the updated wallet is currently in the thread op v1.0.1 - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-chainworks-industries-cwi-project-granite-simple-solid-stable-grn-718939 - but the older wallet version will work ...

the hashrate is still not very large - so solomining is still viable ... diff fluctuates regularly - so blocks are still reasonably easy to come by ...

but the setup you have proves that it does work ...

the pool we have ( grn-pool.granitecoin.com ) is the main pool i use - but will be testing thefarm with solomining ...

i would like to see if the maximum connections limits the solo mining ... will test that soon ...

tanx again for the test and setup - you guys are awesome ...

if you guys would pm me your grn address and ill send you a token of appreciation ...

hashpower / yiimp / coinking and a few other private pools are in existence to mine granite - so seeing that you solomine so easily is quite a positive boost ...

i appreciate it - especially knowing that it works well with ccminer Smiley ...

Submitted a possible improvement in lyra2v2. The same clocks as before.
The rig is up 1MHASH in the displayed hash and less gpu-shutdowns.

The pool is showing normal numbers:

But the head @ git might crash on the 950 and the 980ti because the default launchconfig should be set to TPB=7 and not 8.

Lyra2REv2, linux, just compiled:
750 @1202MHz =~3350 (non Ti)
970 @1303MHz =~8530
980Ti = does not validate on CPU
Thanks,

Hey all if anyone wants to donate/tip to devs and in general then Protip is a great tool. I just set weekly donations & put bitcoins in the wallet. I am using it to tip djm34 although its miniscule at $0.25/week but its a great tool & it might add up. If you want to tip w/o hassle just check it out at http://protip.is/

Curiously, hashrate at the pool doesn't seem to be affected by the apparently lower reported one: it looks to be the same on all the last three commits.
Will report more precise data tomorrow.

Latest commit is even slower than the previous one on my 970s.
They can barely reach 9000 at 1387 MHz

750Ti peaking 5220
970 peaking 10650  r66 is best for 970. other newer releasises lost 1000k/hs in 970.
