10 years and I am still wondering what happens to those bitcoins. Papa john sold the bitcoin or lost them or hold them and sell them later. What was the price when papa john sold them?
The most fascinating aspect of purchasing pizza with digital coins was the exhilarating experience of engaging in the first-ever transaction using a cryptocurrency. Since then, we have witnessed numerous trades involving Bitcoin and various other altcoins. Bitcoin persevered through numerous challenges to pave the way for the cryptocurrency industry, solidifying its position as the foremost digital currency both in the present and for the foreseeable future.

I am on Elon Musk's starship and we are on Mars, can you have one pack of pizza delivered to me?

I am ready to cover all expenses  Grin Grin, like seriously today is truly a memorable day as it marks the official usage of Bitcoin to pay for a real good such as pizza which is something remarkable enough.

I’m not sure how I would get a pizza to mars I’ll tweet Elon and see what it would cost

I would like to trade sats for pizza today. Seriously if you want a pizza and you send me enough sats to cover your order I'll use my crypto.com card to have one delivered to you.

If you would prefer to buy me a pizza (We're gluten-free so I would want to pick the pizza and carryout location yes I'll even pick it up) I will send you a lightning payment.

Poor Laszlo. I feel sorry for him. It's cool to realize that our forum has long been a world legendary place with which such stories are connected. I found laszlo's account, and his activity is 199. Apparently, the forum was only a temporary place for him to pass through. Nevertheless, many people throw Merit to him, as if an offering to a monument.

Nevertheless, it was such people who created the price of bitcoin by such actions. And this is very important.

On this day Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas with 10,000 bitcoins. Its current value is 26822×10000=$268220000. He never imagined that Bitcoin would be worth so much. If Laszlo Hanyecz had known, he might not have ordered two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins. However, he launched the first bitcoin payment by buying two pizzas with 10,000 bitcoins, which no one had done before. As long as the world lasts, as long as there is Bitcoin, we will remember this day with respect for. With that I wish everyone a Happy Bitcoin Day. Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day.

Today is the 13th Bitcoin Pizza Day. Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins on May 22, 2010. He was the first to use Bitcoin commercially. The history he made, hundreds of years will pass but no one can make history like him.
Today I will celebrate Pizza Day by buying a pizza.
Happy Pizza Day everyone
I don't like reading the story because I always consider today's worth of Bitcoin comparing it with the worth of the pizza. It may seem to be a waste but this act is symbolic. He paved the way for Bitcoin to achieve its goal as a currency. From many interviews conducted Laszlo Hanyecz has always reiterated that he didn't regret his actions. He paid a huge sacrifice for the community and just like you can't discuss Bitcoin without mentioning Satoshi, Hal Finney, etc the name Laszlo Hanyecz will always be remembered for this uncommon act. I will definitely celebrate today with a pizza and somebody must know about Bitcoin today through me. Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day to this great community.

Yes, we have thank Laszlo Hanyecz for the Pizza day, he really did something big to the community,

      Here is the iconic post:

    Pizza for bitcoins?

Years ago, when Bitcoin Pizza Day was discussed, everyone was talking about Laszlo and this strange initiative of his. Is it known if Papa John's immediately cashed in that 10k BTC, or he saved at least part of it and thus in some way used such a gift from Laszlo?
If Papa John's cashed them in for that $40, what it was worth then, they have just as much reason to yearn for that moment.

Bit of a time capsule, eh? It's wild to think that a simple pie could tip the scales of value, right? Bitcoin Pizza Day is like a yearly homage to Bitcoin's staggering upsurge, a cherished custom among the crypto clan. It's as if we're saluting a mega-successful comrade each time – a cocktail of admiration and a hint of jealousy.

This eccentric narrative underscores the latent potential of sprouting technologies. It stresses the crux of clear-sightedness and daring in the whirlwind investment sector, more so in the pulsating and promising dimension of digital assets. It sets the stage for speculation - what might be today's "Bitcoin Pizzas", primed to metamorphose into fortunes tomorrow?

But don't forget, if the thought of swapping your Bitcoin for a greasy indulgence crosses your mind, that pizza might just fetch you a private archipelago someday. Keep that HODL spirit alive, mates!

The average of us here must have experienced the same as Laszlo's, for example, I used to get around 20K Dogecoin as payment for my services and sold it for 100 USD in early 2021, but 5 months later the price of Doge went up like crazy, and if I hold on until that month I should be able to earn around 10K USD. Even though that is a pretty big number, I don't regret it, and instead I made it as a joke and took the lesson that if you are consistent to hold your coins, remember that there will be opportunities for it to rise in the future and you can become a millionaire from it.

In 2010 Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for BTC10,000 Bitcoins from Papa John's. And buying a pizza with Bitcoin was the world's first purchase of goods with cryptocurrency. At the time Laszlo Hanyecz was interested in buying pizza with his bitcoins but no one sold pizzas with bitcoins but Papa John's sold two pizzas for BTC10000 bitcoins. and at that time the market value of Bitcoin was equivalent to $42 dollars. And buying pizza with BTC10000 bitcoins has made history in the world and now many products are bought through bitcoins. World Pizza Day is being celebrated today on 22 May. Happy Pizza Day to all.

This is one of the most important events in the history of bitcoins and one of the few insane transactions being made. Man! that's a history right there and we celebrate this event every year giving respect to the guys who made this transaction happens. I guess the people that are patient enough to wait this long to sell their bitcoins are also worthy of getting some appreciation from us because they too make some huge contributions to the crypto market and we see some of those bitcoins are finally moving right now, they probably think this is the best time to also sold their bitcoins as well.

Happy Bitcoin Pizza day to the community here!

Its definitely a day to celebrate and commemorate if possible the day Bitcoin was successfully
traded for something else and it just happened to be Pizza.

We shouldnt get hung up about todays FIAT value of 10,000BTC. Bitcoin yesterday, today and
tomorrow is being sold or traded for something.
