The celebrities that have endorsed cryptocurrency (Mayweather, Tyson, Hilton, etc) could care less about the revolutionary technology.  They got paid by companies to endorse their ico or business.  The majority of people would sell out if the price was right.  Very few people have any integrity and will shill a scam project if it means easy money.

Amitav Bachhachon is one of the famous Bitcoin lover and holder of it. The celebrities invested in Bitcoin to be more millionaire but now the scenario is different. They are maximum in losses. Other celebrities are now aware about the situation, the aren't coming forward to crypto now.

Many names have already been named here. But I want to add more Steven Seagal, Denis Rodman, Paris Hilton. And I also read that many stars (Madonna, Jennifer Lopez) also don't refuse to receive a bitcoin fee for their performances.

I think I heard a rumour, I'm not too sure though of Floyd Mayweather investments into cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency having celebrities in it is already a self made advertisement on its own. Therefore the community needs more of them.

i believe celebrities across the globe have invested some amounts into bitcoin, though they may choose to keep it private. These celebrities have millions of followers and coming out to say something positive about bitcoin will surely have a postive effect on bitcoin. Imagine Beyonce telling her millions of fans about bitcoin, trust me it will be a great one for bitcoin

How many celebrities or high profile individuals do you know of that owns and support Bitcoin? I think if we can get some high profile users, we

might get some good exposure going forward. When Playboy started out, they realized that they should start the magazine with a BANG, so they

bought nude pictures of the most well known person in the world at the time and put her on the front page. <--- Marilyn Monroe ... This put them

on the map and they built a global empire.

Who will be our Marilyn Monroe?

So far we have had some high profile users like Mike Tyson and Ashton Kutcher, but we need a globally recognized ambassador for Bitcoin... our

very own, Marilyn Monroe.  Grin

The influence that a celebrity can give to bitcoin is very crucial because if famous person endorse it people shows interest because the person they're idolized have been involved with something new and the trends will continue spreading. Best example for this is the brand of their idol shoes wearing, pretty sure those who can afford will probably buy it.
If bitcoin would be introduce to the public by a celebrity there are advantages ahead of bitcoins and can be able to have a brighter future.

I like how some of the most famous boxers have worked on endorsing BTC. I wonder why that is. Could it be that corporations  think box fans might be avid gamblers and hihg in risk tolerance?  Grin

Here's those two celebrities:

bitcoin runs by itself and its fame now, does not look at who will invest, no matter who it is, the obvious fame comes from itself (bitcoin)
I disagree. i think there's influence from who the investor is or who buys bitcoin that contribute to the popularity of bitcoin. even the influence doesn't so big, but still their popularity influencing the development of bitcoin. If it is not, then why there lots of news reporting about legendary investors and/or celebrity who invest in bitcoin. this is of course intended to gain popularity or in other words to make bitcoin well-known and widely be known by people.
Influence just like social awareness, when someone who idolized celebrities they will tend to follow things that those person is doing, bitcoin will be gaining more interest and attract people who really not that much informed about this digital currency after they learned that their idols have some interest with this popular new currency which exist around the web.

Well this is indeed good to hear out in here that even celebrities or high profile persons or individuals are aware to the existence of the Bitcoin crypto currency. This only proves that even they are celebrities they are giving their trust and support to the crypto currency community as investing their own money. But we all know that every Bitcoin users are anonymous so that we cannot track celebrities unless they will say that they will Bitcoin owners.

Here in my country there are many celebrities have bitcoin we know that because of the wallet we are using but the amount was still confidential. They are too lucky because they have money to invest and earn much better profit than to other people who have small amount of capital to invest.

In my opinion, most people who have a lot of bitcoin are hiding their identities, because the anonymous nature of bitcoin is an option for many people in the world or maybe other people who have many famous bitcoin celebrities.
that's right, I agree with you because not nearly everyone does not want to show that they have bitcoin or are involved in cryptocurrency, everyone has their own reasons and for me in a country that has not received bitcoin then I do not expose that I have bitcoin.

Many celebrities do not hide that they own Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. For instance, Paris Hilton, Mike Tyson, Ashton Kutcher, Donald Glover state that they have already made money on the crypto.

There are a lot of celebrity bitcoin owners who will not openly own up that actual amount of bitcoins in their custody. Celebrities won't talk of the amount of their net worth in bitcoins for fear of people knowing what they are into.

Having celebrity holding some bitcoins it made its reputation better since some people are being influence by those celebrities. So letting people know that celebrities holding it, it could make its image good since celebrities have higher standing. Maybe not all but some very well-known celebrities have the skill to make people patronize some goods/product they've endorsed.

I also think so: no matter how famous and popular a person you are, revealing your identity as the owner of bitcoin ( especially large amounts ) can lead to very bad consequences. We all remember the story when a guy in the Philippines broke home and under the threat of life was forced to transfer all his bitcoins to the wallet of scammers. In no case can you reveal your identity.
