I am believe some celebrities own bitcoin. After 2017 rising, many people interesting on bitcoin and crypto market, i am believe celebrities is one of them. They need to secure their asset and bitcoin is one good store of value to invest
Most celebrities in my country are investing in electronic money and being passive players means they are not actively buying and selling on the market. I do not think it's just celebrities using bitcoin but everyone uses it, maybe just promoting it. How cheap Bitcoin, better currency you are not in the same place and of course for large transactions, currency can be quite inconvenient. The community is growing bit by bit.
Amitabh Bachchan, he is a Bollywood veteran actor. He got nice profit from his Bitcoin investment then lost most of it (don't know about current condition).

I think there is no need to do this to find some celebrities just to promote bitcoins. If i am celebrity i dont need to go out and tell the world that i am owning a multi millions of dollars worth of bitcoins. The main principle of bitcoin is to maintain the bitcoin owner as a anonimous so that no one can lacate how many you are holding.
It is for the safety of the beholder however celebrities being part of bitcoin users gain the trust the society to be also a user of it. Celebrity dont need to promote it but knowing that he/she part of new currency, an investors and gaining good from it, the users will increase value which can a help to change the price in the market.
if you want to be faster, celebrities who are currently shining. call it, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. surely if the two public figures expressed support for crypto, the fans' enthusiasm from the two soccer players would surely increase dramatically to start entering crypto too.
There are a lot of rich people out there, becoming millionaires or billionaires from Bitcoin. But they will not want to be present for their own safety. As you win the jackpot, do not be foolish to tell others.
I think that bitcoin is held by many and do not say exactly what celebrities have invested in this coin. Many believe that they should invest to go a step with time. Therefore, I never expect that there is one famous person who will come out only to promote cryptocurrency. I think if the owners of large companies invested, we would feel it strongly on the rise of the market.

I think, with the help of any celebrity promoting bitcoin, this will surely attract more and more investors knowing that a celebrity trusts bitcoin. This will give a reliable image for bitcoin.
