Celebs can have big impact on crypto because:

1) First of celebs have huge savings and thus can invest a lot in crypto or a particular coin. This can boost the prices. Also, some celebs have also invested in crypto related companies.

2) Another major benefit is that a celeb investing in crypto also acts as an encouragement for his fans.

I just want to add if in my country many celebrities are playing bitcoin. Most of them invested in this crypto currency. They are the celebrities including people who have big capital so they just hold it alone can achieve big profits. Most celebrities in my country are investing in crypto currency and being passive players means they are not actively buying and selling in the market. Especially the soul of a celebrity has a high curiosity to the new, especially to the crypto currency is rumored to provide great benefits.

Well bitcoin is a booming industry nowadays, Its no surprise celebrity will attract to invest the simplest form to earn income, as long you have much capital to invest, then you are pretty much welcome to join and invest, There are couple of celebrities who are now actively participating ICO's and some invest in cryptocurrency, such as Mayweather, Mike Tyson, Gwyneth Paltrow and even the founder of microsoft (Bill Gates) are enjoying to invest cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is exciting because ity shows how cheap it can be, Bitcoin is better than currency in that you don't have to be physically in the same place and of course for large transactions, currency can get pretty inconvenient.

I think there are some already. I heard that 50-Cent (Curtis Jackson) is a very big Bitcoin investor. In fact, story had it that he was among the first Musicians to accept Bitcoin as a means of payment as far back about 8 to 9 yrs ago. Another person is our very own John McAfee. I don't think he needs any further introduction here. And so many others too who have not publicly declared their support. Watch it, even Bill Gates might have secret investment in Bitcoin too.
