I outlived my lifetime membership:)
Finally, got my 2215 btc interest paid in full... about to sell now while it's still high in value.

Didn't happen. Pirate himself said he will pay everyone out at the same time.

And we all know pirate is a man of his word....

I define that as ignorant... when the knowledge is easily obtainable and available the taking but someone refuses to get it.
I assume you're talking about Bitcoinmax "investors"?
No I was talking about Micon constantly asking about things that have already beenposted.

things such as "bitcoinmax is ~157,500".

now it's ~168,300, but micon will probably never see this post and will continue to ask me how much it is and claim "it's not fair, he won't tell anyone!".

If Pirate came to you and asked"I don't have the 168k, but I have 130k. Would you accept that in order to settle this debt?" would you accept it?

hypothetical, because such a negotiation would have to include a deadline (whether stated explicitly or only implied). then before the deadline, i could have time to talk it over with my account holders.

although, i'm almost certain most would say yes, because that ratio is far higher than what some of the accounts have been trading for.

Just to get involved on a forum I've just signed up for, the point of a forum is to interact with other people discussing things... I formed that opinion after googling him and realizing he shut down his main business at the same time, + reading the amount of interest he's accumulating and quotes from irc. I don't think there's a hope anyone's going to get their money back, but I think this whole debacles making a lot of people with bitcoin feel uneasy.

Great non-answer!  Is there a way I can "invest" some BTC with you?   Grin

The thing is, you sign up TODAY and simultaneously DOX/defend pirate.  Seems strange to me.

In any case, I'm just wondering why the forum hasn't benefited from your wisdom and research capabilities until now.  But since you've so handily identified pirate and his associates for us, why don't you turn your considerable research skills towards finding out who zhoutong is? That would really help. (thanks in advance)

I don't come around here much, but there's been plenty of BTC fiascos this year...Y U chime in on this one?

I singed up a while ago.  You signed up today.   Your response doesn't even qualify as a nice try.  Please be more imaginative next time.   I know you can do it!   Kiss

Do anyone have a reasonably complete (even 50%) list of withdrawal addresses from BCS&T? Blockchain.info seems to be down and Blockexplorer is timing out, but it should be possible to look at some of the known Pirate withdrawal addresses and use the addresses known to be making the payouts to compile a decent list, especially of the people set to pay out their interest.

I am pleased to announce that pirate will be available for questioning in person if you happen to be in the area on 10th September.

Date: Monday 10 September 2012
Time: 3 P.M.
Place: Vaudeville Bistro, lower level (230 East Main Street, Fredericksburg, TX 78624 830-992-3234)

For any queries about the meet please contact him directly at (972) 281-9376

Now, I'm no genius...but.....

Did Pirate honestly drive from Fredericksburg to a 7-11 in Plano to sell a single Video card ? .....on short notice ?
OR....
Could the trip from McKinney to Plano be much more feasible ?

Plano and McKinney are in the same county in Texas.

Just pointing out there have been no tx with a 2215.XXXX BTC output in the last 20 blocks.

Historically did Pirate break up payments across multiple tx and destination address to camouflage them?

no, he had one deposit address and one withdraw address on file per account, and all payments went through them.

That announcement didn't make any sense:

"I got ",

then they go on to say "oh yeah I def want to sell this before the market crashes"...is obviously a bit suspicious.

I suppose if someone thinks investing in BCST was a good idea, they might think saying that in a public space (without having sold it yet) is a good idea too. More likely, it's a poor attempt at manipulation as someone already pointed out.

Pirate is probably competent enough of a scammer to confuse y'all with fake domain name registration names to distract you. Just sayin'.

He can't hide everyone. In the last day or 2, he has tried.....but that ship sailed months ago.

100% of the info that has been removed from the 'Net is already in the possession of those that can use it best....and has been for over half a year.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShWe-4mtV8w

He slipped up with his name and registering it with the Texas Secretary of State when he registered GPUMAX.  "In this country someone's names got to be on a piece of paper."

While I do not accept that this payment has happened.....

We would need to see at least 5000 BTC move in a day for him to be considered doing anything as that is one days 'interest'.  Unless there is something big and verifiable by key members I would regard anything small as an attempt to prop of the value of these debts for resale purposes.

tx id or it didn't happen.

Yeah.. no personal insult intended Definit - but it's reasonable for people to want to see proof of this.

The current situation is such that there is incentive for pirate-scheme participants to create a bit of false hope in order to quickly sell off pirate debt at not too heavy a discount.

At least.. that's my perception. I don't really know how much pirate-debt is being traded, nor at what level of haircut.
Frankly, it's surprising to me that anyone would buy pirate debts at even 1% face value - as presumably pirate himself could be creating fake accounts as we speak and releasing them quietly into the market.

Maybe a attempt to boost bad stock purchases, and sell them off for something? Dono what the motives behind that kind of false claim would be.
