Actually as a beginner I think is advisable to start from beginners and help board, Moreover as a newbie I think that's the best place to start up with. However with the help of beginners and help board you will be thought about the steps to take when making any investment, and also the things you need to avoid as a newbie. However as a newbie there are so many things to learn from the beginners and help board that will guide you, so that should in case you  visit other board you won't find it difficult to make post.

But one thing that happens if you notice is repeated quest, the same or similar queries by beginners about the forum and  BTC at large and most times without adequate assistance or attention.

Everyone cannot be the same, if you look well on the way and pattern of how the old members behave and reacts towards related issues like this, you will discover that once a newbie make a post and such had been discussed before, they will correct him to always make use of the forum search engine before making posts, also to do more of reading than postings as well as giving relevant links where such aspect had been discussed.

Making it choking and it also some how chokes to peruse all the thousands of posts made here to get knowledge of the basics of this forum and primary knowledge of btc, this perusal might not be adequate, might also consume unnecessary time.

Nay, it doesn't consume a time to make use for the forum search engine or the google as the case may be, that is why you could discover the button for all these under the search menu, it was there for purpose like this.

No matter what the forum does to create awareness on newbies to read primary knowledge of bitcoin, they will still keep on creating threads of saying '' I am new here and needs guide'' this is because they will not still read it and they also want to create an awareness that they have also created a topic. So what you said is not necessary because newbies will still act like newbies.

A new board for beginners isn't needed. This is the board they should visit.
Ratimov had a thread that cover everything about bitcoin and forum as Beginners & Help Encyclopedia, But he took down everything with him when he decided to leave the forum.

Here is the archive from Ninjastic https://ninjastic.space/post/58120908#post_point39 but it doesn't have everything which also I don't know why...

Maybe it is time to recreate such threads by someone else which may work as an ultimate guide for every basic query.
I am also shocked to see that when I clicked on the link you provided, I only saw his merits records on the thread with an empty information. I have always want to have that thread so I can always go through it.

A new board for beginners isn't needed. This is the board they should visit. The problem is, many begin their stay here without reading any of the sticky threads and immediately start with questions. How do I buy bitcoin, what wallet should I use, which exchange do you recommend, etc. Regardless of how many new child boards the admins introduced, they would never be able to prevent that. What I would like to see, and what has been proposed in the past, is a welcome message with basic information about the forum that newbies would see after signing up. Sadly, it seems that idea was abandoned.

Op let me start by stating the fact that your idea is a little vague. Now we already have a beginner and help board and there should not be any child board. Infact if there were what would you name it? Help for newbies?  Never forget the fact that not only newbies need help as many a time I have come across high ranked members of the likes of Pmalek NotATether , BlackHatCoiner, Phillipma1957 and many more ask for some help with some Bitcoin technicality related problems they have a hard time solving.

What you should understand Op is the fact that repeated topics by newbies especially introduction by newbies won't be stopped any time soon it's infact normal already. The best that could happen is that moderators would simply nuke posts that have very low quality and are useless.

A newbie who really wants to learn on the forum will simply find his way to the forum search button.

“Beginners and help" two words different meaning. I consider this board as a place where all forum members visit to learn new ideas and information that both benefits newbies as well as old members. Browsing this forum, contents here don't only focus on learning bitcoin terms, it also teaches users about newly imposed ideas on bitcoin and how it'll help forum members. New fraudulent activities relating to bitcoin also get shared here to help save forum members from getting scammed.

A lot of informational help can be seen here. It validates your idea of old members coming to seek help in this same board. Besides, I think Op is asking for a childboard that focuses on newbies alone. Because some of the contents shared here are too vague for beginners to learn. The type of help you see old members seek here may not be easy for us beginners to comprehend the jargons and terms used in the thread. This shouldn't be a problem, beginners can scan through the pages for threads that solves their problem. But, Op only is bothered about the long pages one would go through before getting the right answer. I always get surprised how users easily share links to threads patterning to the question a user asks in the forum.

The Alliance Of Bitcointalk Translators - ENG>PID
I understand what you are trying to say op, and it was ones a reality though not exactly the way you had said it(child board). There used to be a thread before now, which was called BITCOIN AND BITCOINTALK ENCYCLOPEDIA(cant really remember the title) created by one of our own. The thread at that time was actually a help as it comprised of all threads related to newbie question, primary knowledge thread and things they should know about Bitcoin and the forum. This thread was well organized and continuously updated with useful and important threads that was helpful to newbies. Some issues occurred with the op and he got angry then deleted it along side all this created posts on the forum.

Creating a child board inside the beginners and help board to me won't be useful as you can always ask your questions on the main board and there will always be some one to reply you. Though creating repeated threads are not adviced as you are supposed to use the search features provided at the top of the forum to find answers to any of your questions. That's because these questions might have been asked and answered already. But if you can't find answers to your questions then you can just create a new thread and ask you will get answers.

Here is my look on how to help newbies faster and adequately.
It is obvious that some newbies might not have got any BTC insight, while few may be new to the forum but not new to BTC and crypto generally.

Not to forget and worthy of note, alot of headings has been published here to help newbies concerning this forum and BTC generally. But one thing that happens if you notice is repeated quest, the same or similar queries by beginners about the forum and  BTC at large and most times without adequate assistance or attention.

Making it choking and it also some how chokes to peruse all the thousands of posts made here to get knowledge of the basics of this forum and primary knowledge of btc, this perusal might not be adequate, might also consume unnecessary time.

It becomes pertinent to some how provide beginners with direct to the point of obvious or probably basic knowledge of BTC and the forum at large. So as to guide newbies of primary or child board to visit, as BEGINNERS BOARD becomes Secondary for newbie help, at least the sharing of what has been learned from the primary and other secondary and tertiary knowledge of the forum and BTC to aid newbies. Since the child board will be primary learning guides or courses about the forum and btc as a newbie.

This will to an extent remove repeated questions by newbies as this courses will be designed by experts to handle probable doubts or questions by newbies. Not necessarily moving topics but creating detailed content that aids newbies concerning probable or simple and general information about the forum and common BTC terms.

To help beginners, most especially new to btc in the forum.
Things like BTC terms, merits and merits related, wallets and all the probable quest of newbies etc handled perspectively as queries relates to one another are well handled.
Newbies being directed to travel through this child board.
