How the fate of cryptocurrency in your opinion after china forbids cryptocurrency?

Will this be the end of cryptocurrency

Of course not, don't ever think about that. Cryptocurrency will never die, it will grow up as second payment after currency itself. Even China do that, there's many countries with different policy allow cryprocurrency to become their fund instrument. You only need to see big picture about crypto world and leave wrong mindset. I choose to invest & trade with crypto because I believe crypto still have future. But if you're not sure about crypto future, just leave it, no one will stop you. Have a nice day

It's not going to be the end of cryptocurrencies but perhaps it may slow down the growth rate of altcoins in general.

Exactly. There will be no death of cryptocurrencies because of china. That will not happen. As a matter of fact, even if majority of the countries of the world will ban crypto, it will thrive underground. I am certain about it. The growth will be affected though.

As the other trader says "buy all the things that china bans". like for example facebook and other social media sites. china wants to control cryptocurrency but since a lot of people are supporting it, they cannot do what they want.

Great strategy, mate. That is a great statement against chinese move regarding crypto. And then do not buy all the things made in china. The sad thing is that wherever we go in the world, made in china products are all over the malls and markets.  Angry

I think the CHINESE just want to control the State of world trade itself or become its ruler, so they banned or use bitcoin on cryptocurrency world but it's not going to happen because of the Bitcoin is a great invention and the development of technology, inventions like this would not go down even if there is one country that forbid it, but the Bitcoin is open to everyone and anyone can use it

I think China will unban BTC and Altcoin trading in the near future. It is not reasonable for China to miss out the crypto revolution.

Too extreme a reaction here. End? Only after china bans temporarily ICOs that are based there? Come on! Please be reasonable enough. It is not even cryptocurrency that is banned in china. Only ICOs. And perhaps some exchanges as well that are not doing things according to their strict laws.

very clearly have a significant impact because the attitude of the Chinese government will affect crypto currency, about 20% of crypto investors come from there, and even those who are most successful in success, I think bitcoin and altcoin will keep moving organically, 80% involved freely in the trading market.

China ends still calm, there is still Japan who accept Bitcoin and take this opportunity. Japan is very clever.

if china banning bitcoin, japan will be the next largest crypto currency market in asia. japan will start to take over china market and will attract people from asia to using crypto currency. but probably this is just a scenario from china to banned bitcoin and after the price is down, then they can buy bitcoin with huge amount and they will come back to open the market.

rest assured the bitcoin is thorough throughout the world although now China forbids the existence of bitcoin, but the largest market share has switched to japan.
so the existence of China's ban in my opinion only berimbas in a moment. and it will be back to normal as before

As someone once said about the internet, crypto treats censorship like damage to the system, and routes around it.

China's just testing the waters. Probing the system to see how it reacts. And figuring out how to make the most money off it.

China is not banning the blockchain technology otherwise they won't host the speech of vitalik in shanghai just a couple days ago. What I think might happen is that both political and economical situation are pretty sensitive due to the upcoming leader election in Oct. Nothing will happen until after that, most likely next year, what will happen will be a gradual approach possibly with sandbox regulations, as China doesn't want to be cut out of the latest trend, but also want to keep its financial system risk free.

I believe that China will only improve the situation with the country's crypto currency. Regulation of ICO is a very useful solution. I think after the adoption of certain laws, the quality of projects will grow very much.
That may work on China only, the platforms to house Icos had to create a way to house alone trust Icos, but that would be completely centralized which contrasts completely with the idea behind of crypto or even worse maybe it was the idea from the beginning,on the other hand without rules everything becomes chaos, intriguing!
