Port 3333.

Hi, I work with good number of accepted using cgminer in Windows 7 connecting to port 3333, but in a Rapberry I cant use this port, only 4334, without good results.

May the differents internet networks affects?

How can I test the pool and ports in Debian?

Thanks

Nicolás

That's offtopic for this thread. I'm not in a position to pass judgement on them and their alleged hardware.

I'll be restarting the pool in about an hour for a minor upgrade. Downtime should be minimal.
By the way the restart happened and had only a few seconds of downtime. This pool now has support for some upcoming mining hardware that will need special poolside support.

Yeah, I also wish to know what ck had in mind? What kind of hardware?

It uses ASICBOOST and only gets up to advertised speed if the pool supports it...

I still cant believe Dragonmint is a thing... they had some shady ass PR.

Google it a bit and decide for yourself.

The one thing almost no one seems willing to do... always looking for the 'easy' answers...  HAHA!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Is there something we now need to do?  Do I need to create a new receive address through Coinbase?

If your wallet supports Bech32, it is maybe a good idea to generate one. They reduce stress on the network among other things. Google it a bit and decide for yourself.

Guys, on active miners list http://ckpool.org/#/miners I am the only one with Bech32 address (native segwit), the one starting with BC1 instead of 1 or 3. Proud!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy And you should update your wallets or find another one which supports it Smiley

I'm installing the new core and will switch my address once that is all set up. I am a bit torn though at "losing" my history, even if it is a bit small compared to some of the beasts we have in this group.

Core running, new address generated and in place! Back to the bottom of the pool :-/

You misunderstand the people involved in it. Many core developers have been part of the process. The whole point of it is to make it available to everyone and use only overt asicboost which is more energy efficient and not harmful to the network.

Watch for announcements shortly and all will become clear. Code on the public git repository will follow shortly after the public announcement.

Not sure if anybody else is this into the numbers or not, but take a look at the 398-399 spot on the Work page--a 300,000,000 difference in HERP. I'm sure by that point, I'll have to start throwing some more hashpower at this thing to break through that plateau.

Can't wait! The race for 100 is on... Cool

EDIT: ...aaaand somebody moved into that spot with 220,000,000. Ya gotta be quick around here. Grin

Thankfully, I read that wrong. I saw it as a downgrade with minimal uptime. Grin
