So... I'm just kind of insanely curious about everything. If I become obnoxious, let me know and I'll hush. Are there any thoughts about what the "ideal" pool size/hash rate would be? Obviously smaller nets the individual contributors more, however, it also statistically increases the time between blocks, yes? Just wondering if there is a target size out there?
somebody big pulled out of the pool. We've lost 2/3 of our hashrate. 
I think that miner went onto the solo pool since there was a concomitant hashrate rise there. I guess he figured he was almost mining solo so he probably decided to formalise that fact.
Alright, I've got an S7 online and in the pool. Next month I should be adding an S9. Then I think my capital investment is probably tapped out.

I just started mining last week with my Antminer S7 mostly on NH. I'm interested in the Zero Fee that ckpool offer. Should I mine in ckpool if I'm looking for profit? Any advice is appreciated.

My oh My but the DERP is slow to increase ..maybe a little faster now but our block expectancy rate is just sooooooo slow....
The payout will be terrible for quite some time...if we ever find more blocks...

Technically, whatever the "official" block find count is, it's that +1 for one that didn't count during the beta stage (and if I remember right, that's part of that 161% number, which would be 161% shares /2); so, there's that 
So this pool has only found ONE block EVER...and it took 161% of expected shares to find..Right?
So how does that affect the PPLNS 5N situation?
This is not PPLNS, but is very close, with a score based variant of PPLNS. The window is 5N and so far we haven't even filled one full window. The LNS in the pool stats means Last N Shares and tells you how many are in the current window. Block finding has no influence on the window at all. So how does that affect the PPLNS 5N situation?
Yes that is correct until we find many more blocks.
