I spent way more than I should have on nh rentals and never had a diff issue, must be something new on their end.
Is there any way to set the minimum difficulty for the pool? I would like to help out with some rentals to crack the first block.
Not really with rentals, no. But then people have rented up to 16PH without a problem on this pool. It's designed to cope easily with massive hashrates (though it hasn't seen that much of them yet.)I tried renting at Nice Hash but it stopped my order because they need a minimum starting difficulty of 16384. No way to get around this?

Hello all. I have my measly 7Ths pointed at pool.ckpool.org:3333. Been here for a few weeks. Just thought I'd say hi. I'm a total noob when it crypto currency. I plan on expanding my hash rate in the future and picking up more mining gear. I read somewhere that "bitcoin is meant to be traded like currency, not mined". Well I disagree. I say finding a coin in a pile of blockchain must produce the same feelings that old time pan miners felt when they struck gold. I'm looking forward to the first block. It's all very exciting to me. Probably because I'm a nubblet. May the force be with us all!

I don't understand when payouts go out? I thought it was once your derp reached the dust threshold?
Payouts for a given block can't go out before the block is found.

Throwing my 580 TH here to help crack the block.
I have my miners pointed at miningrigrentals and mine through there and when I added this pool, it gave me an error message that they were unable to authenticate but I ignored that error and miners seem to be mining fine at this pool. Not sure if the problem is at their end or yours. I haven't seen this error for any other pools that I have there.

It will be solved, sooner or later.

Are you looking at your own BTC address? Everything appears to be in order as far as I can see. Only one address is around that reward and it's"1B5nA9AyLxtRmA16S4YCXR5D1r9Z9j1wBg": 1.26586349

If you mean me, I haven't gone too far. I am just currently soloing some alts that are paying me the bitcoin equivalent of ~170-180% PPS, and only the odd hour or 2 in the pool for now. Hopefully this will offset the long-haul overhead of what it takes to be involved in the wait of finding blocks and I can get back to a longer duration in the pool some time soon.
