If there is THAT big of a difference between types of memory are optimizations/fixes being worked on for elpedia memory? Looking at a couple of my cards, they're producing 470h/s at the same speeds as the elpedia cards, which is pretty ridiculous.
Yes, there are a couple of mining bios for the cards with elpidia ram that improve the timings. I forgot the correct name, but you can find them in the mining section in the litecointalk.org forum.
those modded bios for elpida cards have little to no improvement with Claymores miner. both my gb 280x's run modded bios and switching between them yields no gains in hash rate.
