Help me here. I'm mining Intense.

I have 2 rigs, and in one of them Claymore's GPU miner works great, no problems.

In another one, I have a RX 570 and a RX 560. Performance with Claymore's miner is dismal. RX 560 seems normal ~ 400 H/s, but 570 is only giving 360 or so H/s.

I only edited config.txt file with pool and wallet adress and allpools = 1.

Using XMR-stak hashrate for 570 seems normal, 800+.

But I would like to use Claymore's, as on my main rig it's faster.

Here's the log:

On fedora I have 3 different versions to make things work
Code:
openssl-1.1.0f-4.fc26.x86_64
compat-openssl10-1.0.2j-9.fc26.x86_64
openssl-lib-compat-1.0.0i-1.fc25.x86_64
1.1.0 comes as default, 1.0.2 for most stuff, 1.0.0 just for Claymore.

11.2 version do not support HD6xxx GPU, no ASM binary say just it.
Try 9.7, it is still good for obsolete GPU's

Claymore, i'm running into a problem getting best hashrate with 11.2 on 390 (core 1100/mem 1500). With 10.2, h=1920 and dmem=1 i'm getting 900+, with 11.2 i can only get <840 and the best settings are h=512 and dmem=0. Can you revise related code and mb switch to the one from 10.2 for this card?

10.2 is hard to use because <11.2 crashes on pool errors.

Guys, I need help please!

I got an old GPU - AMD 6800 series 1GB.
The only program that gives me good hashrate is Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 Beta - POOL
It works well if i leave default pool address and wallet address.
But if i try to set my current pool and wallet it gives me errors or sometimes even crashes. "Wrong wallet address, pool deleted from list"

I am mining IntenseCoin(cryptonight), pool format that is used for intense coin is "stratum+tcp://45.32.171.89:4444" or "pool.intense.hashvault.pro:5555"

what can the problem be? is it just that this old program doesnt support new coins ? but what i can do?
and it seems that newer versions of claymore don't support radeons older than 7xxx (mine is 6xxx) Sad((((

this is what config looks like right now

-o stratum+tcp://45.32.171.89:4444
-u iz59jv2TnQ3CQoa9LLNSm7WH6RyQmcRv5fQq3HXzEVkuArPcGan9FctVsWjSvpicMZJWcTfC4jCtwLg r8EjDUaTy15J2qwL5q

You need to include the '-allpools 1' parameter.

1. Try to upgrade to Win10 as fast as possible.
2. I was unable to run any miner using Windows 7 Blockchain driver
3. Try to read suggestions. You have 2x4G video mem, 2G RAM, suggested Vmem = 10 G but you "run out of options" setting it to automatic from 2G to 18G. Just set 18G, no min or max.
4. 2Gb is way too few for Windows, may work for Linux but not sure. Go to 4 Gb minimum

BTW sorry for offtopic, it's really not about Claymore 11.2 but about you basic software and hardware.

I don't understand why it has been running for over a month and now all the sudden it won't work.

I only have a 37gb raptor drive and I have been running basically all the extra vmem I have available. There is only about 14gb available on my other 290x rig, same 37gb drive.

It mist be Windows related but I don't think it's virtual memory issues.

If you really need some help you should give more info.
1. OS version
2. Driver version
3. GPU version|make
4. CPU
5. Installed RAM
6. Virtual memory settings
7. clinfo.txt from your system
8. Environmental variables
9. Miner initialisation string|config files

If it is not that easy just check for you virtual memory settings to be set not to automatic but to value of TOTAL GPU RAM of ALL GPUs + TOTAL RAM of your system (or more). If the settings works you can try to lower it trying to get your system down again :-)

Windows 7 64 out of the box without updates
Blockchain driver
2x r9 290 4gb asus directcu ii with stock bios
Athlon ii x2 2.6ghz
2gb ddr2 400
Vmem 1684gb min 17600 max
11.2 claymore

I feel like I've tried everything. I have a nearly identical rig as well except it has a phenom ii x3 2.7 and 4gb ddr2 and x2 r9 290x 4gb Asus direct cu ii with the same miner and config with no issues.

I brought the system down to test some old graphics cards before I sold them, booted then into Linux as to not mess up my Windows config/drivers. After that the system gives me the above errors and the miner just continuously restarts itself.

It doesn't appear to be a driver issue, I downloaded 3dmark and it seems to run fine.

I'm out of things to try!

Help guys. I had checked on my miner and it wasnt waking up, gpu's were cold.

Restarted and have been getting this error:

22:53:43:814   f68   GPU 0, GpuMiner dk1a failed -36
22:53:43:818   928   GPU 1, GpuMiner dk1a failed -36

22:53:43:870   6b8   GPU 1, GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -36

I've checked my virtual memory, ran a driver uninstaller and reinstalled the blockchain driver, i've done several restarts, i've tried uninstalling the driver again in safe mode, booting with 1 gpu, reinstalling driver, rebooting and still get the same error. I've tried a different pool, i've tried a fresh install of the miner.

nothing is working!!!!

I'm about to just reinstall windows!!!

Could really use some help, its been running this in a loop for 24  hours now. i dont understand what the issue is.

hi,

I am having trouble running 12x rx 570 on Asus B250 mining Expert. Gpu0 always gets 0 hash while  the 11 other GPu is getting 908 h/s. is there a gpu limitation in claymore cryptonite? I am able to run 12x cards fine with claymore dualminer. I am using 8GB ram and 64GB Paging File.

Set the -h value for gpu 0 to 890 the GUI/display manager uses some memory.

^^^ If I had to guess (I'm guessing) your cards have crappy Voltage Regulator Modules, I'm guessing you bought the only cards available and they were still in stock because they suck.

I just got stuck with asus 580s elpida, same issue... i can pack 19 msi cards in one rig if I can find stock...

I got the cards a while ago, and I got them directly from the official distributor in my country where they can only sell at the original retail price.
I dont think any sapphire nitro+ limited edition are bad, they are all ASIC 80%+, samsung memory, and probably the best performance for mining.

The thing is, I tried to split the rig into 2x 6 cards each, and they work perfectly fine (the same cards I used in a 12 gpu rig),, but putting them into 1 mobo (tried ASUS B250 mining expert, Biostar TB250 btc pro, and Asrock h110 pro btc+), some cards crash, so Im guessing either claymore doesnt do well with 12 gpu rigs, or there is something Im missing.

I got plenty of virtual memory.
tried higher end processors and more ram
lowered core n memory
tried stock bios with stock core/memory and voltage

sgminer-gm works with 12 cards and all is fine, but it hashes lower than claymore for me (900hs for sgminer, 1050hs for claymore).
You need to segment the GPU's into groups of 6 using the command line flag. You then run two instances of the miner on the same rig. Works good that way.

This might be the solution to my 12-rx 580 problem. Can you help me sir on how can I set them to 2 groups?
