How much H/s could I get with r9 390?
With what setting core/mem clocks?

I am currently keeping them on ZEC, but plan to switch if more profitable.
How much are you getting from those mining ZEC, got mines doing dual ETH+DCR get, 32.5 +490, no moded bios, 1140 on the core clock, MSI

thx for info  Grin

I get
401 H/s Sapphire 1110/1500
405 H/s MSI 1125/1500
no mod, CM ver 12.1

According to whattomine, eth is a bit more profitable right now, by however slight margin...

I constantly get this messages (sorry for bad quality photo)
It's been a month that I switched from zec to eth now and some of my rigs are displaying this

They were mining eth since the September, then I switched to zec and now back to eth again. Nothing more is changed since September except of bios.

my guess will be too much OC

on mining ETH, you can control the intensity with "-ethi"

maximum intensity is I think "-ethi 16"

Try -ethi 8
-ethi 8 helped on 3 rigs and they are mining without any issue till that, but on one rig I get this message no matter what -ethi option I edit. As I figured out only one GPU is giving this error and then the rig hangs, If i turn it off then other 2 GPUs are mining without any error.
Are there any other solutions for this ?

Mining now to 270x 2Gb can not run? Due DAG file? Is it possible to create it in the old days on the HDD
I switched my 2gb cards to ZEC, if there's any solution for DAG I want to switch back

anybody got hashrates for UBIQ or expanse ? with 280x or similar cards vs eth.  Just curious, for the above guy with a 280x, might be better on ZEC

280x on Expanse gets 23-24mhs running Claymore.

Hi @Claymore

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ethereum-mining-nodevfee-0-v150-1792180
what can you say about it?
is it trojan?

I'm ok with 2% fee than have a chance of 0.1% of my wallet gone.

Nanopool says its payout is 4 times a day. Are these payouts on a specific time? Till now nothing arrived. How do I know when and if something will arrive in my wallet?
This is my output: (I guess it works)

ETH: 02/20/17-18:41:52 - New job from eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999
ETH - Total Speed: 8.732 Mh/s, Total Shares: 58, Rejected: 0, Time: 07:08
ETH: GPU0 8.732 Mh/s
ETH: 02/20/17-18:41:54 - SHARE FOUND - (GPU 0)
ETH: Share accepted (32 ms)!
GPU0 t=64C fan=33%
ETH: 02/20/17-18:42:20 - New job from eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999
ETH - Total Speed: 8.543 Mh/s, Total Shares: 59, Rejected: 0, Time: 07:08
ETH: GPU0 8.543 Mh/s

With 8Mh/s you will wait a long time before first payout Cheesy

You may want to take the intensity down on that so your machine doesn't trip out.... Grin

Yeah, I know it's not much power, I just wanted to learn the mechanisms.

I wonder how you guys even work profitable. Let's say the Ether price will be stable at $13 for the next year and I buy two RX 480 with a hash rate of 50MHs. They had to run like half a year until they amortized. Do you focus for the long run and hope the price will go up or do you sell your Ethers after you mined them?

Also, what do you think about Minergate? Easy to use software, but I don't trust it somehow.

I dont think you can get 50 with a 480, I have those cards, the 480 OC 8 gigs and The most I get out of them is 31 and thats with a mod bios.
Where I live electricity is cheap and weather is cold 6 month per year, so easy to cool them down and I heat my house with them lol
To make the best profit you save them until they peak up and then sell Smiley

Hi there,

Maybe not the right forum, but I will try Smiley

We currently have a farm with many rigs with:
-6x RX 480 sapphire OC 8gb + Jukebox modded bios for 29mhs cards
-Windows 10 anniversary
-16.9.2 AMD drivers (16.12.2 drivers putting an error code 43 next to all the modded bios, had to rollback to 16.9.2)
-Motherboards are ASrock anniversary and BTC Pro H81 v1/v2

We kinda have a choice to make that I do not want to make:

Choice 1: We cannot reboot the rigs without a screen being plugged on the GPUs.
Fix1: We switched the primary adapter to ON BOARD in the bios, all the rigs can now restart properly without a screen
Downside: We dont see any temps in claymore miner and monitoring // AMD software doenst open NO AMD gpus detected but it's mining stable.

For the choice 2, we just select PCIe as primary adapter. We cannot restart our rigs without a screen (no post), but can see GPUs temps and AMD software working.

If any of you could help us about this, its currently driving us crazy D:

Thanks!!

you can buy a hdmi to vga adapter and the rig will boot up when you set PCIe as primary adapter.

buy one like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Input-HDMI-to-Output-VGA-Cable-Converter-Adapter-for-PC-DVD-TV-Monitor-UK-/142098253568?hash=item2115b74700:g:HAcAAOSwux5YMsHz

Thanks for the suggestion, I've also looked at this dummy HDMI, didnt think it was really working. Well it will be kinda weird to see these things on all our rigs.

I will also keep looking around, there must be a better way (I hope). Linux doesnt that issue at all, we can see the temps and everything.

Thanks again!!

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?

typically i sell half right away, and keep half "just in case" moon happens.

That depends on the price of electricity.
