On my low power bios modded RX 470 4GB cards, the best setting is DCRI 17/18
I get ETH 26 and PASC 240 per card, each card drawing about 105W at the wall.

What kind of RX470 do u have ?
what kind of low power bios are u using ?

thx

I am pretty sure its not 105W at the wall while dual mining. He is most likely looking at his GPU-z wattage. I think it uses 150W or so.

Power consumption is pretty heavy at default Pasc -dcri.  Careful if you run a tight ship with your PSUs.

Well ZEC mining for the Tahiti's is pretty bad right now.

I might try EXP mining on the 280X with Pascal dual mining.

However something tells me the power consumption will be in the Litecoin mining territory, pretty much like this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUvUmo8dBmU

2 of the R9 280X consuming 700 Watts at the wall.

For ETH or for ZEC?
why would he post in ETH topit if it is for ZEC?

^ Grin

Anyone switching back to Eth (from ZEC?) Price of ZEC really gone down lately

I went back to ETH.

Look to the difficulty chart https://etherscan.io/chart/difficulty I think that many many people went back to the ETH Smiley
I did it month ago

Me too, I don't understand why anybody would mine ZEC with polaris gpus...

Well sh*t, perfect time to move back to Eth with the release of 8.0...  (thanks Claymore!)

I go on a trip for 3 weeks and things change so drastically in the crypto world, lol.

Hi, I am having a problem with my rigs, not sure whether it's the mobo/ram/psu/miner.
My setup is as below;

H61 btc pro
3* r9 290 with usb powered riser
aerocool kcas 600 watt(powering the risers,mobo, and gpu 1)
2 other psu each powering each card (to eliminate psu issues)

What the problem is I cant get the gpu to run on higher cclock. No matter what I put on MSI AFTERBURNER it still runs at stock clock speed (947Mhz).

So my question is, is there any other choice to get it runs at higher clock speed? e.g -cclock options from bat file? anyone tried this?

Now the money is free, and so the people will be
well a fury gets 30.5 and 600mhs, which is good.  470 gets 27mhs and 270mhs.  unfortunately, power consumption is through the roofffffffffffffffffffff
inb4 rig problems

I wrote a small piece on it, see my website if you want.

Higer than ETH dcr ?

actually if I remember well, DCR was setting the roof on fire, pascal is below I think.  On a RX470, adding Pascal to ETH ads 25 to 30w more at the wall.

please dont mine at nano for pascal.

yeah dont quote the whole post man.

so far no improvements on eth as far as my tests goes.

after new settings, reboot your rigs before running.

let's see what comes next.

Why not use Nanopool for Pasc?

I still don't understand the need of -nofee option.
Can someone share dual mining config ?

I have not seen additional speed for eth
12 x 470 8g
 Cry

@marvykkio

what are your core and mem settings for these? with or without modded bios?
thanks

My mining speed is the same as 7.4 - 29.3mh (RX480 core 1150 mem 2100)

thanks, but i really want to know about RX 470 8gb.
1100/1950?

core clock 1260
memory clock 2100
power limit + 13
core voltage -12
fan speed 70%
intensity 20

1100 mv

@marvikkio
Thanks, not sure that I can use these with a modded bios, though.

claymore you can have a speed of eth bit, or we are already within the limits? Kiss
some report that it got a bit higher

I've switched from 7.3 to 8.0 and no improvements in terms of hash rate for my Rx 480 nitros. I'm getting 29.3 with low power bios.
Shall I enable dual mining (ETH + Pascal)?

Hi everyone..
I have a ZCash / Zclassic / Nicehahsh mining problem with Claymore (Claymore 8.0.7)

A Gpu of my RIG with R9 280x, (1002 6798 - 1458 2279) Gigabyte WindForce
AMD DRIVER 15.xx

Temps With Pascal miner - sometimes take 78ºC - 35ºC Environment.
I did Underclocking my bios memory clock from 1500 mhz to 1400 Mhz, Gpu Clock from 1000 Mhz to 800 Mhz, Volts standard, I tried setting below standards but it did not stay stable.

I have stable mining, ETH / PASC, but with Claymore (ZEC) or NiceHash, crash.

Please, any help?

Has anyone ever experienced this ?
Any idea ?

Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner.
=========================

Latest version v8.0:

- added new coin for dual mode: PASCAL(PASC). Now you can mine Ethereum, Ethereum+Decred, Ethereum+Siacoin, Ethereum+Lbry or Ethereum+Pascal. NOTE: Currently Pascal is not available for NVidia cards.
- added "-nofee" option.
- added ability to use environment variables in "epools.txt", "dpools.txt" and "config.txt" files. For example, define "WORKER" environment variable and use it as "%WORKER%" in config.txt.
- added "License.txt" file.
- some minor improvements.

Hi clay

I mine dual eth and pasc. But i cant see pasc my hash on nanopool. Are there any problem with mining program?

Of course, because you quoted the whole post and you've got a problem for that! /sarcasm/

I dont see problems at the moment with new version. And I always triple check myself. Considering Claymore makes it /miners/ for years now. Just check your address and stuff. I betcha.

And please don't quote the whole post, God!

Sorry for that my bat file is
-epool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x88dc1d2a51329bc212baeb531b71f9a670709245 -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://pasc-eu1.nanopool.org:15555 -dwal 86646-64.a4b5e798b204ff48.rig2 -dpsw x -dbg -1 -dcri 35 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1

Do you see any problem?

Add -dcoin pasc
I added but my eth speed was 27.9 after added dcoin my speed 24.3

Yes, using dual the eth rate will drop, use -dcri 1, 10, 20, 30, 40 to test

Use -dcri   parameter (not 35) Use 20 or 15 or 10 or 1
