can you maybe fix miner for gpu temp monitor
when i use MS remote desktop, and run miner .. only 1 gpu show temp
when i run minier via teamviver, show all gpu temp and fan %, or i run local .. via keyboard and monitor

but, teamviver is not free, and from time to time block conncection and you must wait for another.
And MS remote desktop is builed in, free and working great

TeamViewer is free.
I have 8 PC's connecting to TeamViewer.
It's the honor program with TeamVeiwer, as long as you are not using it in a
business it is totally free. I've use it for years.

Wondering if someone has an easy solution to this new problem.

I've been mining for 1 year with no problems across my 5 rigs.

All of a sudden, the majority of my rigs (using various versions of Claymore) are showing GPU0 as 0.00 MH/s.   I can only seem to mine if i plug gpu0 into my monitor, but then my other rigs will stop mining.

When I relaunch claymore, it hangs at POOL/SOLO.  Eventually it will get going, but GPU0 will be at 0.00, then it loops.

I'm using various versions of claymore across my 5 rigs.  Aug23 blockchain drivers and afterburner.

Please help.  My hashpower is useless right now.

If you're using Windows operating system this may be the solution.
Windows doesn't like to operate well without a monitor attached to the primary video card.
But attaching a monitor isn't recommended when mining.
Try buying a Dummy Plug and put it on GPU 0.
They make HDMI dummy plugs in several forms.
That works great for me. Something like this one at Amazon.
I don't know why this would suddenly start, but I think it's worth a try for you.

I've got this weird problem with stale shares rate for quite a while. 5-7% of stales to be precise (up to 10% on a 180Mhs 6 GPU rig at a time). At first I thought it might have something to do with GPU firmware, or process priorities, or claymore (been trying different versions, keep installing the latest with no improvement whatsoever). Tried to get rigs work through proxy, but then it became obvious that direct stratum is fastest way anyway. Network issues are out of question - I run gigabit switches to the router, then to the fiber optic router, and get 79ms to the ethermine pool. CPU load on rigs generally around 2-5%, and I use raisers v.006c (quite standard stuff). Here's my screen https://imgur.com/a/Xf8IDeM

Any suggestions?

It is not related to the miner, the reason is in Windows and AMD drivers.

@dadoremix : Kindly try chrome remote desktop, it's free as well.

Hi can some one help me with my problem?
My Hashrate with claymore 11.6 with a  1080ti is constant with actual oc, but i had no shares for about a couple hours...

i read that with ethermine miner, some users had solved removing the code "--cuda-streams 24" and adding "--cuda-grid-size 4096" (for a 1050ti)
there's such similar for claymore or another solution?

What version of nVidia driver do I need to install so I can use Claymores 11.7 to control OC settings. Do I still need to use afterburn if I use claymores to control OC? If I upgrade nvidia driver, do I have to use DDU or I can just update the driver through Windows Device Manager? Thanks

My question almost similar. My rig is of Nvidia 1070 cards. To OC this cards I using MSI afterburner. Why with 11.7 claymore version all my fan setups are changing in force? I am trying manualy setup again on afterburner fans speed, but this version don't allow to do that... What's the problem?

Anyone getting a dag error on 3gb nvidia 1060 cards? I even had -eres 0 or whatever (dont allocate any extra dag's in memory) in the command line to fix it last time. Card 0 is a 4gb Fury and card 1 is a 3gb 1060.

Cant seem to get it going right now after it restarted a half hour ago (maybe a DAG/epoch change?) Running zenCash right now.

Yes, 3Gb Nvidia cards are getting dag error now. Also eres -0 is not working too...
same problem.

-lidag 1
-eres 0

DDU + 376.33

p.s. claymore 10.3

Wow this actually worked
https://i.imgur.com/sCT2p7n.png
It worked for me as well.
I guess is a solution that will last a few more weeks, after that I am afraid it will be necessary to switch to W7, Windows Server or Linux.
Did anyone used any of those OS withe the GTX cards and Ethereum?

Seems like all new version of Claymore never can reach the reported effective hashrate.  If you guys want more shares.. use v9.8.  All newer version are skimming more shares.  Claymore just getting his share guys..

Don't believe you. He has always been updating this SW to please us users.
Can you proof that the 9.8 version is better than 11.x ?

@rigomortis
Just rolled back one of my rigs to v9.8 with the same dcri suggestions as 11.7 did. Going to try it for 24h to see if you are correct - or full of bs... Time will show

Ollis

Hi can you update us on the fact that rigomortis claims are true or not considering less shares?!

Did run for 30+ hours. And rolled back to 11.7. No significant difference. Just BS...
I'm 14 trying to stack some money for my education. This guy probably 47. And fat. And single. And doesn't wan't to pay decent devfee to a good programmer like Claymore...

Wow 47, that's really old. Do you think he's really THAT old ?
I mean, he probably can't even use a iPhone at that age.

I use the older versions also on some rigs. Basically unless you want to dual mine the new algos or you are getting no tempeatures then you should use the newer versions. But the ETH is identical between versions 9.8 and 11.x or so.

The way that Daggerhash is coded is very difficult to make it any faster. Pretty much even the original Ethminer by the ETH dev core team is more or less the same speed.

However Claymore is more stable and has more monitoring features.

Dear Claymore,
thanks for the updated version, but i have error for NVML cannot detect temperature as well as CUDA error.
If it worked before try lower clocks to see if that is the reason.
@Claymore : do you mean under clocking my GPU's?

From your log:
Code:
22:25:30:396   294c   gpu 9 nvidia memclock set ok (6355MHz, previous value was 5505MHz)

So may be set a bit lower overclock than +850? That's what I mean.

@Claymore:  Thanks for the clarification, i will try again 11.7 when i get home and configured less overclock in the script to the GPUs.
I will let you know what will be the result.

@Claymore

Works like a charm - as always.
Still having issues with my AMD cards lowering hashrate for a few seconds (up to two mins) and then back to normal. Have learned to live with it, but I wonder why...

Ollis
check the clock speeds and temperature while it does this and after the speeds return to normal.  My guess is they get too hot, and gpu and memory clocks throttle down to lower speeds until it cools down to normal temperatures.  Then it will go back up.

Thanks, dave4925

I will chech the clock speeds later, but I'm sure they are not too hot.
The rigs are placed in a cold area with good venting. -tt is 60 and they are always between 58 and 63.

Ollis
I would set -tt to 70

OK.. Thanks - will try that.

Didn't do any better...
Sorry, to bug you guys with this, but am I the only one struggeling with this issue?

@Claymore
