Dear all
i have R9 285x 2GB working stable for mining ETH. since 5 months ago , it was run fine in claymore 6.4,7.4 and v8.0

Now it is  stop working to mine ETH or ETC  , ZERO hashrate on it

but it is working fine to Mine Zcash v12.2 with Win7 16.9.2

i try to change Riser,PS,Operating system,Rig, and result nothing
i try to test different Driver and nothing

Note that i have another Card with same specs and running fine in ETH with 20MH/s

please help Awaiting your reply

2GB IS TOO SMALL--

There have been several posts recently about 2GB cards.  The DAG has grown too large for a 2GB card to process.  You should be able to mine Expanse (EXP), it is at a much lower Epoch, and has a smaller DAG file.      --scryptr
BUT I HAVE  another typical card of 2GB an it is running ETH Fine !!

Sorry to ask because there is so much info already on this post line, but I have not found exactly what I am looking for.  I have 6 Sapphire rx 480 4g cards on one of my rigs and I am swinging it over to ETH+DCR from Zcash mining, and I have tried a number of things already posted to get these 4g cards to hash at 27, but the closest I can get is 25.  I would appreciate settings or ideas from those of you with these cards that have had success with them at 27 h/s or more, but I am not interested in burning the cards up either.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have RX 480 8gb msi
GPU #0 got incorrect share. If you see this warning often, make sure you did not overclock it too much!

I have tried to keep it at stock speed. Even then I get this message. How should I resolve this ?

Any help on my previous post please.

revert back to stock bios

I never modded my bios. Only overclocked and undervolted but after seeing this error I kept stock settings yet same issue. Sad

Did you use "SETX..." in your .bat file?

Using Nicehash miner 1.7.5.2 with claymore's miner mining eth. No bat file just NHM gui.

umm.. did i miss that release?.. i'm pretty sure they're still on 1.7.5.1

There is a pre-release version available so you have not missed it ... yet. Also need help with my issue ... anybody ??

2 GB cards - the ETH DAG file is too big to fit any more.

You'll have to switch to something else that they CAN handle - ZEC, XMR, that new PASCAL thing, perhaps ETC.

Mine for a Bit
Claymore

Can We get a speed increase for RX4xx?

Probably it is possible to get a few percents on some cards with assembler, I'm going to check it.

Thanks, Claymore. Smiley

I hope you all don't mine asking, but I am setting up this miner and i have a few questions. I am not seeing any activity on the PASCL side from the pool, but the miner looks like it is processing PASCL and ETH packets. How can I confirm it is working?

This!

ETH works fine, the dual-mined shares just don't seem to get any response from the pool.  Eventually the (non-ETH) connection drops and reconnects.  Auth succeeds OK.

Code:
19:10:19:495	bb0	DCR round found 1 shares
19:10:19:511 1b90 DCR: 03/04/17-19:10:19 - SHARE FOUND - (GPU 0)
19:10:19:511 1b90 send: {"params": ["XXXXXX", "0000000111cab285", "224abb", "58bb1113", "6dad1213"], "id": 4, "method": "mining.submit"}

19:10:20:612 fcc recv: 51
19:10:20:612 fcc srv pck: 50
19:10:20:612 fcc srv bs: 0

19:10:26:143 bb0 DCR: weak share, skip
19:10:26:458 480 GPU0 t=70C fan=35%

Then , eventually:

Code:

19:10:35:056 fc4 DCR round found 1 shares

Thanks!

try lower intensity -ethi with this command, make it -ethi 6 and then start lowering until you find the perfect spot.
On some of my rigs this settings helped, on some other ones I reverted to stock bios

any solution for this erroe
I have Gpu R9 285 and 280 ,when I mine ethereum get 0 hash
how fix it?

i checked but no luck, they have 2 rx 480 powercolor red devil and rx 470 red dragon but no rx 480 red dragon. It is confusing to me that all those bios versions are 256kb so I assume mine should also be 256kb. I used GPUZ to back up my original bios, but when I open it in Polaris bios editor it says that it is less than 512kb and it could corrupt my graphics card. Please help.

Please help. I modded bios just memshift my RX 480 8g Powercolor Red Dragon and Im having some problems now and I want to go back to my original bios but cant find it nowhere on the internet. I used polaris bios editor, but I think I made mistake when I made a backup of my org bios when I used GPUZ to back it up instead of ATIFlash cause it saved it in 256 format and it should be in 512 (I saw it on some forums). Can you help me please. Thanks
