Major zcash trojan appears to be going on in Europe. When Europeans get home at night and turn their computers on the hashrate goes up by a third to the mid 60s and then slowly deflates to the low 50s as people go to bed

Hello guys, not sure if this already happened to someone and already posted it in here but, I'm having a problem with the newer Claymore Versions after ver 11+ with my 4 Rx 470 GPUS, When using ver 12 and ver 12.1 3 of my 4 GPU would show 270-275 on hashrate which is fine, but GPU3 it's showing 0 on hashrate, I have 16.9.2 amd drivers, what should I do? I'm going to download the newer amd drivers and check, but i wanted to post it first, thanks in advanced
From the readme
For 4xx cards (Polaris) Crimson 16.12.2 is recommended.

There is a bug in version 12.1. Whenever the net's latency increases, I get lower speeds and it does not regain it back. And by lower speeds I mean -50% H/S

i had a rx470 reporting -30 sol. so there's definitly a bug
the -30 happend once, never able to reproduce it.

-30 sols, you better make sure you have the Zcash to pay to the pool then.

yeah i was also wondering how that would work out

Hi,

I have a problem with my gpu's. On the computer I use everyday I have 2 GPU's, one RX480 and one 380. For almost a year I never had a problem. But few days ago, electricity in all house turned off and after few hours came back. But ethminer don't see gpu's anymore! My computer see them, everything is ok, GPU's work properly. But Miner say that he does not detected any OPENCL devie or CUDA device. And problem is with all miners, Genoil, Zec or Dual ETH. Gpu is not visible for miners. What should I do now! I have no idea? Any suggestions? Thank You!

You can uninstall the divers and reinstall again.

Yes, but if he already made ETH miner for Ati and Nvidia cards, he should make same thing here, when he have time of course, no hurry Smiley.

Blockchain Just Entered The Real World
What about support for NVidia cards and implementing in miner, do you maybe planning such thing? In that case we can mine with mixed Nvidia/Ati gpus at same rig?

I do not think he has time to support Nvidia cards.

Winding down.
The price was really low. But the speed of solving increased.

It is not so profitable.

Miner does not use 1.88 factor in calculations, using it is a bad idea because it is theoretical factor and real implementation may be not so good. Therefore miner just counts all solutions found, and time that was spent. If algorithm implementation has a bug that causes 1.8 factor, it will cause less number of solutions and less calculated hashrate. So this idea is wrong.
I still think it's related to pool. What pool do you use? I will put all my polaris cards to it and check 2-3 daily hashrates to see hashrate deviations.
i have same problem,
F2pool.com 4x sapphire rx 470 4gb
With v.12 miner show 1073 h/s, pool show 1000-1030 h/s (24-hrs-Hashrate)
With v.12.1 miner show 1097 h/s, pool show 999-1006 h/s (24-hrs-Hashrate)

flypool

I mined on flypool for a long time with other miners (SA5, Optiminer), and the pool hash rate was equal to my raw hash rate at the miner. So, unless something has changed on the pool recently, I wouldn't think it's their calculations causing the discrepancy.
