Anyone has solved the issue where the miner shows No AMD OPENCLGPU Found. Exit

yes, they likely installed drivers and then everything worked fine Smiley

A good day, there was such an unpleasant situation, there are farms on the GA-Z170-Gaming K3 and 5x RX-480, work almost perfectly (Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.5), now bought the same GA-Z170-Gaming K3 But with 5x RX-580 when working with permanent OpenCL errors, did anyone encounter this? Frequency factory, from systems tried on Windows 10, Ubuntu 16.4, Simple Miner on the basis of the same Ubuntu. Everywhere the same situation.

Hey guys,

I just built a rig and i'm mining with claymore zcash under ethos distro, and I have some gpu crashing to 00 hash often and fast (like 10mn after boot).

I put the command "-r 0" but it doesn't restart automaticaly.

What can I do ?

Thanks

Hmm ok, I've got it set at 20GB (for 7 GPUs). I'll try increasing.

I think 25-30 GB should be enough.

Could it be that tight memory strap mods used for ETH mining are not working for ZCash?
Quickly tried to use Claymore Zcash miner on my RX570 mining farm for the lulz... and everything crashed within seconds. What's the catch? Or do I just have to lower intensity?

EDIT: same thing happens if I try Optiminer. After a few seconds of mining, miner freezes, PC reboots.
Anybody care to comment?

I have Asus RX 480's 8GB with Samsung memory and a basic bios strap mod of the 1750 MHz over the 2000 MHz timings. There was a ~ 5 MH/s improvement for ETH and for ZEC ~10 H/s per card.  The crashing after launching the miner sounds like not enough virtual ram set. I use  24576 GB.

Any plans for Nvidia support? The AMD cards are impossible to get right now.

There are other miners that work well for Nvidia.

Ubuntu 15.10

GPU0/1/2/3/4/5: 380/290x/290/290/290
Command: ./zecminer64 -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal xx.xx -zpsw x -tt 60,90,90,90,90,90 -tstop 96,96,96,96,96,96 -powlim 0,-10,-10,-10,-10,0 -r -1

I'm running the miner (v.1.1) since today and noticed the following. At the start it runs fine, but after an half hour or so the zecminer64 process is taking 99% cpu load.

Also, bind errors (notice GPU0 jumping to 0 sometimes btw):

Any clues?

Has happened a few times to me. Uninstall, then use the driver traces remover, reinstall proper driver version.

Sometimes it will still give errors on startup but within 5 mins runs clean. safe mode or not safe mode either or works for me

anyone has here a system mixed with 470/480 and Fiji GPU?what workaround did you use? because when I open zcash miner and eth miner on each gp the 470 underperforms at 220H/s

Getting hang in opencl call message with R9 390X.
Along with: GPU returned incorrect data
Tried with new riser (powered usb3), same thing.

stats:
+13mV
+0 power limit
1080 clock (stock)
1500 mem (stock)
stock bios

Tried:
new riser (didnt help)
lowering to -i7 (didnt help)
lowering to -i6 (didnt help)
+50mV (didnt help)
+100mV (didnt help)
lowering to -i5 (didnt help)
1050 clock (didnt help)

Help pls.
Other 3x R9 390 mining steady on that same rig...

Did you replace the power cables and the USB cable going to the riser as well?  most of my 'riser fails' have been actually due to those 2 cables and the riser is actually fine.

Since i dont have any more risers, i mounted the 390x directly on x16 slot, with no risers.
That seems to have solved the problem...

Thx for help

I usually put the first GPU in the x16 slot with x16 riser.

My Fury rig on Claymore 12.5 with 15.12 drivers + (ASM activated)

846W for 6 cards.
Let's round to 790W to remove CPU/Mobo/RAM
Now remove PSU efficiency (8% for my platinium)
732W / 6 = 122W per card for 400-430 H/s

That is almost as good as the nVidia 1080 cards.

More like 1070 numbers - 1080 should be able to do somewhat more hashrate than 430.

Still not bad for a generation-old card you can't hardly find any more since it's been out of production for quite a while.

Makes me wonder what the Vega cards are going to manage.
