Hi everyone,

I've few rigs using Claymore miner (9.4 , windows 10, crimson 16.9.1), I observed both stability and performances are much higher when only one GPU (GB rx 470 4g)  is plugged on the rig. I achieved to get 27mhs/500mhs (eth/sc) with one gpu over hours, then I decided to keep these settings which seemed stable enough for the whole rig. However the performances of the 6 gpus are actually much lower, around 22mhs/300mhs per gpu, and the rig crashes often (wattman error). Is there something I can do to fix this issue?

Thanks  Smiley

I do not see difference with multiple GPU. So you may reduce the frequnecy to make them more stable.

Anyone had their hash rate drop by 100 randomly? Left mine on last night and when I got up this morning it had dropped from 300 to 200. A restart fixed it, my clocks were the same in gpu-z and gpu still showed 99% usage.

Doh!
I just realized I was running 12.4 version.

Updated to 12.5, so far so good.

@Valgar nicehash released new version of the miner with updated CM miners, check if it helps.

All good after the night as well. My rejects are now solved.

R9 280x should run fine on Ubuntu 14.04 with the fglrx 15.12 drivers - but I think you have to manually download them and install, I don't remember them being an apt-get options anywhere offhand.

I am running fglrx(0):     Version: 15.20.3   which was installed from the additional drivers menu in the Xubuntu 14.04 GUI.

I'm pretty sure that's the 15.7 drivers - fglrx 15.12 drivers identify as 15.302.something or some such.
I don't have access to any of my LINUX boxes to check right now, as they're all in my new place and I'm typing this from my old place.

has anyone setup claymore miner 12.4 with Fury and a newer driver than 16.3.2? because for me isnt working

Fury should still use 15.12...running @440H/s each
has anyone setup claymore miner 12.4 with Fury and a newer driver than 16.3.2? because for me isnt working
R9 Fury here !
Claymore 12.5 (-asm 1 -a 2 -i 5)
Driver 15.12
400-430H/s with powerlimit -50% (125w)

It's important to stick with those drivers, that is the best perf I got.
(With newer driver, I can't activate the ASM option, with give me around 340 H/s for the same powerlimit)

Here my dashboard : http://www.monitorig.com/#?panel=dashboard&id=1086db9224632d26671ab42df5ee1d92bf0187bbdd
but Polaris cant work with 15.12

I'm getting a lot of issues with the Claymore miner within NiceHash in the past week, anyone else getting this?

This happens on 3 separate rigs running different cards, Furys, 280 and 390.

What often happens is periods of rejected shares even though the cards are rock solid stable and periods of disconnects/timeouts, I've tried switching regions but the same issue. If I switch miners I get no issues, but of course Claymore is the best performing.

Nicehash seems to have been doing a lot more "switching" this past few days vs it's norm - which impacts Claymore's miner more due to the overhead of setting up the SSL connection.

There is ZERO reason to run "newer" drivers on that card, as long as you don't have anything more recent in the same machine with it.

Should I update to Claymore v12.5 ?

I just stated to get the same problem on Nicehash too.
It's rock solid on flypool mining ZEC, but I would like to mine on Nicehash now.

I am still running 12.4 about to update to 12.5 to see if it fixes the Nicecash rejects, but before I do, my video card is an old HD 7970 (R9 280x ) Tahiti chip model. I am running on Linux Ubuntu 14.04 with fglrx drivers.

Is that the optimal Linux solution for that vintage card with Claymores?

I haven't seen any later OpenCL drivers for the Tahiti chipset than the ones in Ubuntu 14.04

Miner is detecting my card as 470 but my card is Sapphire nitro+ rx 570 8GB... I am getting around 275 hash... is this okay??

Not okay, you should sell the card to me  Tongue Tongue Jks. The software shows RX500 series cards as 400 series but the speed of the card is determined by the memory type. I have a hynix RX580 Nitro+ which gives 315 hashes and an elpida RX580 Nitro+ which gives 285 hashes.

12.5 has the issue as well.

The problem is almost certainly on nicehash's side. Come report your problems here, doubt nicehash monitors this thread:

Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a go, also for some reason Windows had just decided that after 3 weeks of mining it would block the miner which is why I got disconnects, thanks for the help Claymore!

Edit: seems to be working much better now, my 280 which has stability issues before seems to be better too.

Getting the same.
My idea is there is a new coin out there that is not properly supported by CM miner, hence the rejects.
Hush? Zencash?

Please PM me the log file so I can check the reason.

Log sent. I think nicehash also sent new diff right before rejects started "Pool sets new share target: 0x000f0f0f (diff: 4352H)"

Linux version not working because of using old ssl library
libssl.so.1.0.0

Since you use Linux, it should not be a problem for you to get required version of OpenSSL. But I will check if I can link it statically in next update.

Why my RIG with AMD R280 Saphire suddenly shutdown when start mining with v12.5
windows 7 64 bit RAM 4Gb
need advice please

Usually it means that your PSU is weak.
