Hello,

Can you please send me a link with the moded bios you use? I have also Asus R9 380 and MSI R9 380 cards. And I get around 92-93 H/s

thats sick ! getting 145

985/7=140.7

985 was his first crack at it... after upping his clock speed to 1200 he achieved 1015 total h/r... so, 1015/7=145  Wink

Getting 400 H/s clean and solid with my 3x RX 480 8 GB. According to GPU-Z, each one is consuming just ~65 watts power, as I'm using 980 mV through the built-in under-volt command of Claymore's miner.

Very impressive.

Hey Claymore, how are you?

Buddy have you evaluated the possibility of dual mining for zcash?

Have a great day guys.

The ZCash mining needs both core computation and the memory bandwidth. So it might not be a good idea to do dual mining.

I love Claymore's v6.0

7 MSI RX470s: 985 H/s
955 Watts at the wall
68 ave Watts (MSI Afterburner)
57C ave GPU Temp (MSI Afterburner)
47C CPU Temp
1500 Strap
MSI Afterburner settings: 1950 Memory Clock, 1150 Core Clock
thats high wattage u need to undervolt

Just Redid my settings and came out better:

1015 H/s
7 MSI RX470s
968 Watts at the wall
68 ave Watts (MSI Afterburner)
57C ave GPU Temp (MSI Afterburner)
49C CPU Temp
1500 Strap
MSI Afterburner settings: 1950 Memory Clock, 1200 Core Clock

My main goal is profitability = W/Hs (less is better)
Previously I was at .97 W/Hs
I am now at .95 W/Hs

To Undervolt I would loose efficiency and hashrate.  I also get more Hs and no Errors/Rejects!  Very Stable as well.

I'm getting the same hash with 1270 core 1750 mem. You don't need to increase mem that much (well, at least for now where claymore rather released with higher intensities). Have a look at it.

Why is devfee finding so much more shares so much faster?
Because of a different pool? I'm mining on suprnova

When you switch pools, difficulty starts off low and then ramps up.
Switch to mining at flypool and you'll probably get considerably better returns.

Thanks for the hint, can't switch to flypool atm, they dont offer zcl mining.  Smiley

Wow, started mining with version 1 and just had a chance to skip up to latest version 6.
You've outdone yourself.

Went from mid 120's to steady 280 on my two R9 270x -4 gb, one r9 270X 2 gb and the HD7850 I use for video but have set in the miner as well.

Don't know what you did but its magic here.
btw - all stock clocks,win 7 - 64, 8gb ram, 15.12 drivers.
Not changing a thing and just let it ride on flypool.

Thanks!  Cool

5 x RX480:

ZEC - Total Speed: 818.401 H/s, Total Shares: 517, Rejected: 2, Time: 00:10
ZEC: GPU0 164.360 H/s, GPU1 164.098 H/s, GPU2 161.291 H/s, GPU3 164.007 H/s, GPU4 164.646 H/s

So each RX480 is doing ~163.6 rock stable.

Wow.. that's cool man!
are they the 8gb version or 4gb version?
If you don't mind can you share your gpu setting (cclock/memclock, strap bios etc) a little bit?

Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ OC 8GB

I can upload the BIOS somewhere if you want to play with it. (I don't recommend people use it for all their cards)

That's great idea man.. I never flash my card directly with any downloaded bios.rom... I usually just open the downloaded bios.rom file & open my copy bios.rom, compare the value then if everything look right i try to copy the value from downloaded bios to the copy of my bios.rom and flash my card with that copy of my own bios that has been modified .. I understand the rule in any  forums.. the risk of taking advice from any forum is completely my own risk.. :-)

Thanks a lot man... You Rooock!!

Happy mining & have a wonderful day!

 Grin

Thanks for ROM! I tried it out, it does give ~ 162 sol/s but power is very high. GPUz showing around 110w vs my 145 sol/s @ ~ 75w (GPUz)

this setting is pretty good... since my bios and his bios seem to be different.. mine is hynix, his seems to be samsung.. so I don't flash my card with his bios.. instead i copy some value from his bios to mine.. in this case I change the gpu clock to 1350, change memory voltage to 900mv and leave everything else unchanged... it worked pretty good.. my 480 hashing around 157-158 h/s.. gpu power draw average around 87.4 watt... i think this power draw can be lowered further using sapphire Trixx or other overclock software by decreasing gpu voltage..

What have you changed ?

Use the BIOS editor and look and compare. I don't recommend using the bios unless your cards can handle it.

Hey man, your CPU is probably bottlenecking. Happened to me too. Even though with a decent CPU for mining (g3258).

Try to set intensity lower, im guessing claymore pushes intensity to keep ahead of the competition for now but we will see better kernel improvements later on.

my cpu G3250 but, cpu load %15-%20

Dear Claymore

look for my Screenshoot:

PIC #1 big hashrate but very slow to get share. change Diff target 2-3 times every 3-5 seconds
PIC #2 Dev Fee mining so fast than mine
i used V6 to mine ZCL.
although hashrate more higher, but the number of share less and less
why when Def Fee mining more faster?
need your explanation and a solution
thank you

It's a very good idea to read first post of this thread carefully. Entirely. Especially "FAQ" section. You will find answer to your question there.

thanks Claymore...
I've seen it

VERY APRECIATED TO YOU & YOUR MINER...!!
Good Luck & GBU Claymore
