Is it just me or with this new version (6.0) the pool (I am on flypool) automatically raise the difficulty and from 100's of share you go down to very few (literally 10's) shares per minute?

The 5.0 version was fast and the pool didn't change the difficulty.. is this new version sending some sort of infos?

I would say rx 480 4gb.. much more cheaper than the 8gb version (even cheaper than the 470 8gb, at least in my country).. almost similar performance in term mining zcash... in my case rx 480 consume less power than the 470..

here's the hashrate of my sapphire nitro rx 470 8gb & rx 480 4gb:

the gpu 0 = rx 470, gpu 1 = rx 480

I have some of these , they are voltage locked man you cant undervolt them outside of bios mod or wattman

280x msi at 1030/1500 117 sol/s
280x sapphire at 1050/1500 122 sol/s
sapphire nitro 470 8GB at 1300/2000 149 sol/s

personally i choose XFX RX 470 Black 4gb .. can undervolt a lot and overclock core and memory a lot,along with timings,great card for price.

Your 290x's should be getting minimum 175 Sol/s.

R9-390 at 177-180 H/s - OMG!

RX 480 at 140-142 H/s - best improvement since v5.

-i 3 or 4 did not make a difference

There is a difference between a cheap Sempron and i3 with the 470's. About 10 Sol/s difference per GPU.

will there be any more versions, or how much close are we to the max limit can be utilized by GPUs?

Interesting.. I can't find any difference between G1840 Celeron and i3-4160 CPU (absolutely identical rigs with 6*RX470).
