I use acrappy Core2Duo e4300 with 2GB RAM..with 2xRX480 on a nforce 630i crap msi mobo.but get with both cards around 150h/s out of this piece of crap :-D

When i run only 2x7990 i get ~208
When i run only 4x RX 480 i get ~210
When i run all 8 i get 350. Is there any reason for not getting ~420 when running all 8?

Possibly you have a weak CPU that can't feed 8 GPUs fast enough, I have the same issue with my seven 290x rig.
Try lower intensity, I find -i 0 is fastest on my multi-GPU rigs with slow CPUs.

Those cards seem a little warm, don't you think? How did you get 9° on the CPU? Is that your ambient temp?

Thank you claymore for this awsome update (3.1) , the previos version (3.0) had some kind of memory bug...even the virtual memory was going beyond 20gb......

3.1 works a charm, fixed the instant lockup issues with 3.0 on my 290x rig.
Now pulling 480 sol/s on that single rig

Any chance we will see the linux miner updated in the future? I know it's not getting updated now as stated in the first post, but is it discontinued completely?
On my rig with windows 7 ultimate and 16.10.2 drivers with 6 x MSI r9 380 -80/800/1500 setup on afterburner gettting about 35-37 h/s in total about 220 with new claymore v3 zcash miner mode i-2. Is that Ok or i can do some other setup and get more from this cards?

Please can you advise what bios and settings for these..
I'm currently using 1375 straps and auto GPU with lower voltage and 1850/875
Getting 55H/s to 62H/s version 3.0
Not really sure aboout Ellesmere because I don't own any, but others have posted settings earlier in this thread.
