due to much difficulties in mining zec, can someone tell me how much $ i can earn with 500h/s from flypool if i get free electricity?

http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/zcash-mining-calculator/?h=500&p=400.00&pc=0&pf=0.00&d=1243868.38654332&r=10.00130107&er=0.05192101&btcer=1890.80000000&hc=0.00

Without taking in to account orphans, future difficulty or ZEC price fluctuations.

thank you.

I run 2 7990s in my win7 setup, latest miner and works flawlessly! You sure your CPU/mobo can handle Many gpu cores? Mine can handle 6 as it seems!

I can handle 4X7990 without problem.

My 7990 runs flawlessly.  Fantastic.  However, when the 390 card in the same system starts heating up, one of the 7990 cores gets throttled down.

7990 reports one temperature, but 2 GPU's.
7990 is GPU 0 and 1
390 is GPU 2

Temps are reported for GPU 0 and 1.  But it's the 390 that's reported as #1.  Miner will do "ttli" on GPU1 when the 390 gets hot.  But it's 2nd core on 7990 which backs off.

Can this be resolved?  I tried -gmap 001, but no joy.

Thanks

You can use the MSI afterburner to reduce the voltage of the 7990 and 390.

is their any difference in speed on rx 580 4gb and 8gb cards thanks

RX 580 4GB runs around 285 - 295 Hashes whereas RX 580 8GB runs around 304 Hashes (been the average for 1 week). RX 570 4GB for some reason has 304 Hashes and the RX 570 8GB has 312 Hashes.
All cards are Sapphire Nitro+ OCs
all stock clock?

thanks alot think im buying a couple of the 570 8gb as their is not a lot of differrence between them and the 580 and their cheaper thanks again

What are your clock settings?  Did you strap/What strap?

no just waiting for them to arrive

Issues with Version 12.3:
- Some rigs will not run all GPUs since v12.0.  With 12.0 and later, some GPUs report 0.00H/s rate.  One of rigs has 7990, only uses one core.  Have not tried 12.3 version on this unit, it runs 12.0 fine.

- Option -di detect will run very long time on a couple rigs.  Would love to know a procedure to do this manually by switching GPUs on and off.  How to map default GPU order to -di GPU order?  This is an issue because miner will reduce intensity on the wrong card, leaving the hot card to keep getting hotter and eventually stop or crash the rig.  Does the ordering need to be recalculated for different versions?

Linux rigs seem more stable than Wndows rigs.

Thanks for a great miner.

You are using by any chance win 7?
Sorry to resurrect an old thread - now that things are warming up in Texas, this issue returns.

Yes - this one rig is on Win 7.

Do other OS's run better on 7990?  I have rigs with Ubuntu and Win 10.  Which will work better with 7990?

Thanks!

You need to reduce the intensity to 6 or lower.

Already tried that, I changed it to 4. For some reason when I start the miner it still says the intensity is 6. Guess I'll really try putting it into a different slot like br2459 said and see what happens. Thanks guys!

Change the PCIE to generation 1 in the motherboard BIOS. Reinstall the driver 15.12.

My 7970 is only making 10-70 H/s with the latest miner. What might be the cause? Bios and settings are factory ones, I haven't tampered with the card.

Try putting it into a different slot. I have had weird issues with cards not hashing right but changing the PCI-E slot seemed to have resolved the issue.

You may need to lower your overclock on that particular GPU and/or raise the voltage (if you undervolted it) to fix the invalid shares issue. Try reverting it to stock settings for testing first of all.

All gpu´s are in stock clocks and not undervolted.

With win7 everything was working 100%

Hmm, if you're at all stock settings then you're using ~250 watt per GPU? You might not have sufficient power if that's the case since 7 x 250 is 1750 watts just for GPUs...

Hey, good point, havent even think about that, have to learn how to undervolt those

You could use MSI Afterburner to reduce the mv on the core clock as well as reducing the power limit. Unfortunately you can't undervolt the memory with that program so I am using AMD's Wattman for all my tweaking right now, but that doesn't work with R9 280 series as far as I know. Perhaps wattool would work, but I'm not sure. Afterburner will help allot even without being able to undervolt the memory.

Yes you can. Next to the core voltage there's an arrow pointing down. Click on it and you can undervolt the memory

Are there any hashrates differences between rx 480 4gb and 8gb?

my cards
480 4gb - 295
480 8GB -305

What brand are they?
How about rx 470s anyway?
im planning to build another rig but not sure what to use, looking for cheap one with decent hash ^_^

anyone using freewallet.org? mining transactions not showing and zec on wallet not going out

I started having this issue 2 days ago. Did you resolve the issue?
Anyone is having this issue with Freewallet.org?

you're getting what you paid for. if you don't have linux run your own wallet in windows (dont forget to back it up) https://zcash4win.com/

Another Windows wallet option: https://github.com/vaklinov/zcash-swing-wallet-ui/blob/master/docs/Readme-Windows.md

I was using the Linux version of that wallet for 4 months before it crashed. Switched to the windows version and haven't had any issues since. I do backups every payout both .dat file and VM backups (Runs on a windows VM for me).
