Would it be any problems mixing brands? Not sure If I am gonna replace my R9 280 (250-310 sols depending on clock) with a more "eco-friendly" GTX 1060 or RX 470..
Currently I only have AMD cards.

No problem.

Awesome! I´ll check my budget and temptation to mix brands and see where it will land Smiley

Anyone has any experience mining with Fury X? I am using with HD 7970 in one system. It works fine and for about 1-2 hours and drops for 0 Sol/s. I have 15.12 drivers installed. HD 7970 continues fine even after Fury X drops. I have tried all the suggest things posted on OP but they have not helped. Is Windows 7 a better choice or maybe even try Linux?

For Fury, it is better to use 16.3.2

Installed Windows 7 + 16.3.2. Going to see how it goes.

Fury only mine up to 16.3.2. above it has zero hashes

hey,

When i start mining i get 300 H/s but after a while it drops to 200.

What's the problem?

card: r9 280x no oc, fan 70% temp 62c at 300 H/s, 55c at 200.
catalyst 15.2

thank you.

use 15.12 not 15.2, much better driver version for mining (IMO the best AMD ever did, but unfortunately doesn't work on new cards like the RX series and I'm not sure if 15.12 works with the Fury/FuryX/Nano).

sorry i have 15.12.. typing error

Its been a long time since Ive done any mining and this zcash miner is extra well put together. I really only have one question:

When adding these parameters do you jsut drop them into the config file or create a new batch file and add them?

GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

I think the last time I did this was prob in BFG miner and I am pretty sure I jsut did it while the miner was running inside the program itself. I really cant remember. Thanks

Its been a while since i researched and purchased the Corsair power supplies with the Digital Link feature, but from everything i read of reviews and testing were positive.
I am normally a EVGA guy, but ive been satisfied with this PSU and highly recommend it. But with anything, there is different views and if anyone has had a bad experience
with this model of PSU and the Link feature i would certainly like to hear about it.

@Socket54 , i think you are having problem with the power draw...check cables and everything....if you elemenate all problems with cabling, try mesuaring inside you PSU, capacitors etc with multimeter

@CharNoir , try with significant downclock on the memory of the problematic card, or maybe slight downclock, you can check what are the best settings after a while...for exemple, my 7970 is stable on 1300 Mhz (patched bios) , but sometimes i can run for hours with 1315 Mhz....

I got it worked out thus far. Rig has been running smoothly since yesterday evening. Here is the power draw readout. from my Corsair RM1000i.
With 2x reference XFX RX480, 1x XFX RX 580 GTR black edition.

Software is rubbish at measuring the actual power usage of your rig.

What? Have you every used a Corsair power supply? I don't think so......

Corsair power supply output is quite accurate.
