Hello! I have a Radeon 7950 and I've got a small issue with it. The last miner version that worked fine for me was 11.1. Weirdest thing is when I set up a new miner, say 12.4 it runs fine the first time, and there's a significant boost in speed compared to 11.1, but when I close it and run it again, it goes down to less than 70 H/s, sometimes even 0 H/s. Any ideas how to fix this?

Can anyone give me an idea the number of SOLS I would get if I was hashing with 5 RX480 cards?  Or if anyone maybe even knows how many SOLS just one RX480 card can generate?  Trying to figure out if it's worth building a rig, and what kind of ROI I can expect.  Thanks!
Stock Sapphire Nitro+ OC model are capable of 320H/s with some OC. I have 4 of them but running ETH on them currently as its more profitable with a bios mod.

BTW, once ETH goes POS, will you just be switching over to ZEC or will you mine something else?

Ok thanks!  That gives me a good idea to start off with.

Hi all

I can't get any cards of rx470 or 480. The only one I can buy is MSI or ASUS  rx580.

Does anyone know how they work?

The Rx 580 will be very similar to the Rx 480. They might hash a tiny bit better at stock settings but consume more power. If you undervolt and tweak them they will be very similar. I would buy whichever had the better price myself.

It will not hash better if the memory is the same.

The GPU chip might be a little more efficient.

Thank you for all your posts. I've ordered MSI RX 580 Armor 8GB today. As soon as I get'em , I'll tell you how much sols I get
I hope you have better luck with them than I have had. At this point I can't get them to take ANY tweaking. Currently running headless on ETH/DCR:

Code:
ETH - Total Speed: 126.374 Mh/s, Total Shares: 91, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:23
ETH: GPU0 16.166 Mh/s, GPU1 21.924 Mh/s, GPU2 29.555 Mh/s, GPU3 29.192 Mh/s, GPU4 29.538 Mh/s
 DCR - Total Speed: 3791.208 Mh/s, Total Shares: 73, Rejected: 1
 DCR: GPU0 484.968 Mh/s, GPU1 657.712 Mh/s, GPU2 886.640 Mh/s, GPU3 875.751 Mh/s, GPU4 886.137 Mh/s

Hi Claymore thx for a great software... one question though, I'm using a AMD RX 460 oc 2gb edition GPU (got it for my birthday)
and I'm using the 17.2.1 crimson driver (Is that a problem?, should I change to earlier drivers like 16.5, or does the 17.2 drivers sufice?)

I get speeds of over 150 sol/s with your 12.3 version (same card) compared to other miners(software) your's is worth the miner fee!

Thanks.

Dear Friends

Im have two Sapphire RX470 of 4GB !

1 - What values im put in sapphire trix of Gpu Clock and Memmory clock to get maximum speed?
2  - what best miner software and parameters  to get more shares and more speed ?
3 - what is the best pool ?

Thanks
Almir

Claymore is working why not to pay the work? i mean if you want to work for nothing i can hire you. Someone if invested 10 YEARS in learning and ask for a price, that price believe me it is small, that time wont come back. And for these people you should pay 10%fees just to shut your mouth !!!!

If you think it takes 10 years to learn how to develop a miner specifically you have no idea what it involves.

Agreed, with the increasing diff on zcash the fee's are def becoming an obstacle...

I'm now mining with no fee set on r480x with not noticeable drop in speed. My miner is staying right around 300 sol sometimes higher, pool speed actually reporting higher speed than normal. I wonder if it's because it doesn't disconnect to miner on another pool anymore.

Anyway that said think about it, 2% fee on the miner plus 1% on the mining pool. it def adds up over time with increase of diff.

if you think you are paying 1% on the pool I have a bridge for sale if you want to buy it. Now if you don't want to pay the 2% Claymore fee there are ways around it, but you have to code it. Actual several ways, some somewhat easy some others very complicated and none with claymore software hacking involved. But if you are at my level or bellow where my payment to claymore amounts to 25 cents or less a day is really not worth the trouble

That sounds interesting, what pool is best to mine zclassic on?

Well, obviously I'm biased because I run my own pool.

https://z.elfpool.com Because, some people prefer elves to dwarves.

Also will an exchange handle the 1-1 exchange?

We don't know if exchanges will handle the 1 to 1 exchange yet. It's still 4 weeks away.  We have to wait to get updates from them.  There are 4 exchanges trading ZCL already.

It's safest to store your ZCL in a local wallet until we know for sure.

Some of us switched to ZClassic because of that. Plus Zencash is going to split from ZClassic on May 23rd for a 1 to 1 split.  For every 1 ZCL you own you'll get 1 Zen.

Then again, some of us don't really care to mine random copy-paste shitcoins..

The displayed hash rate is the same, but according the Claymore, it should be 5% slower.

I used https://miningpoolhub.com for awhile when I was mining ZCL. Don't know of any other pools off hand or whether they are better but Miningpoolhub fee is .09% as opposed to 1% of traditional pools.
