ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Sinbad.io is convenient and secure mixing for your privacy. Sinbad mixer takes your bitcoin and returns bitcoin with a different blockchain history to your address obfuscating the coin's connection to you. The mixer has a reserve of bitcoins, so you can mix your BTC quickly

Being a part of the campaign you are encouraged to engage in discussions on their from Official ANN thread. As the campaign manager, I hold 0.2431 btc (≈ $6,700) in escrow to guarantee ensure payment for campaign members. Sinbad management will top up the address regularly when there will not have enough to pay for the coming weeks.

WHAT IS GREEN ZONE?
As a campaign manager, my job is to provide the BEST VALUE of the money a project spend on Bitcointalk marketing. Besides, it became obvious that even though the forum rank of two or more members are the same but their overall performance regarding post quality, number of posts they made so far, merit vs post ratio, merit vs activity ratio, acceptability of their opinions in discussions, DT status, accuracy in the feedback leaving habit, correct practice of trust setting, forum socializing skills, knowledge about bitcoin and any subject in topics they engage, influence over others or ability to organize groups and lead a gang (LOL), individual acceptance in their own gang members (LOLx) - all are different. There are many more parameters we consider to pay a campaigner that bring the BEST VALUE from him/her.

An easy example is to understand everything in very short - in a campaign when theymos (LOLxx) and I wear the same signature (come on! can we please use our imaginations? LOLxxx). Even having the same forum rank (ignoring theymos' admin power) his and my pay scale should not be the same. If one is to be in the Green Zone than he should be the one without thinking twice.

In Sinbad campaign it's no different, you will be paid according to the value you provide to the campaign. The higher is your contribution to the forum, the greater is your pay rate. In one line - the Green Zone is for high value members. Currently, we have 11 Green Zone spots including one undisclosed member. We may increase or even decrease the number of spots in the Green Zone in the future but chances to increase is higher though.

However, having a place in the Green Zone does not guarantee you that you are permanent there. If we find your effort dropped for two weeks in a row then you will be moved down from the Green Zone. You will get paid according to your rank only until your effort regains and the Green Zone have available spot for you. It's a cycle and you will be tested all the time to bring the best from you.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. Opinions from existing Sinbad participants and who contributed in this discussion, we came to the conclusion that we will go with 40 posts and up to $200 per week.

Keeping the existing campaigners is my top priority so you may not see many changes in TOP of the list which we have right now except one or two. Merit rank will be from 4K+ Merits.

Here is what we worked out:
Code:
Pay roll / per post / max post / per user highest /
Merit rank (Above 4K Earned Merit) $5.00 40 $200.00
Hero+Legendary $3.50 40 $140.00
Sr $2.00 40 $80.00
Full $1.50 40 $60.00
AVATAR $0.65 40 $26.00

There will be some minor changes in the campaign rules too. Once everything is ready and undated, I will announce opening for empty slots.

Since I'm a part of the campaign this is just my humble opinion.

Two parallel questions to get community feedback.
- Maximum 50 posts per week is good enough or 40 per week is better?
50 posts per week is good enough for me more is more challenging I have to bring up that 80th most posts, 40 per week is acceptable

Quote
- Would you like to have $250 or $200 per week?
Not voting I live it up to BM

The most important here is maximum visibility, good branding for the project, and longevity, we all going to benefit here if the campaign keeps reaching that target.

Considering other campaigns with the new rates have already taken off, I think it will be best to keep uniform rates to avoid signature participants jumping from one signature to another chasing for a better incentives everytime there's an opening !

To make this work a tier system can be used as follows:
  • 3k merit Users >>>>>$5.00 per post for 40 posts max [$200] or $5.00 per post for 50 posts max [$250]
  • legendary/Hero >>>>$3.00 per post for 40 posts max [$120] or $3.00 per post for 50 posts max [$150]

Then other ranks you decide on rate $2.0, $1.5...

If not the above, perhaps use old rates of Sinbad and increase the max number of paid posts to 40 and scrap off the Greenzone and replace it with the 3k club...

I am not considering opinion from average quality posters but posters who do not chase weekly maximum limits, who posts because they shares valuable insights and guidance. I would like to have opinion from current Green Zone, Legendary and many other prominent bitcointalk members.

Please share your thoughts.

Cheers,

1st. Firstly, 40 or 50 every post is better per week.

2nd. Secondly, Since the campaign is posted by reputable people, $250 seems fine for the sake of respect.

PS: to be clear, there is no minimum amount of posts? It says 20, but im not sure if that is to get the 25$ extra from wearing the avatar.

There is a quote here that says 5 posts but it was deleted:

Edit: I've just read a page ago there's no minimum.

To my belief, what Royse did to Yomix signature campaign is totally acceptable and agreeable because that was 1) firstly initiated by icopress in their campaign and 2) Royse followed such pattern because it is in the interest of the project to get recognised by the best participants of the forum, so there's nothing wrong if they want to take people with over 3k earned merits. I know there are very few of them but there are enough of them definitely to take such spots. And this also gives motivation to us to create more constructive posts in order to gain more merits on our posts instead of casually writing things. It's not adding any pressure as not all the spots are reserved for those who have earned 3k+ merits. I believe that the manager would love to take such participants because they have earned those merits not just because they're mostly active, but their posts are highly informative, knowledgeable and to the point. I'd congratulate Royse and icopress on taking such a step so that even with limited participants, the campaign manages to gain the best results for the project. This will also add more opportunities as there may come more projects here after seeing such enhanced results from this forum, or we may also see the current projects' management decide to increase the number of spots (definitely not the 3k+ ones as that's something limited). Merit is overrated. It definitely helps distinguish participants to some extent, but it doesn't say everything about them. Bpip profile checking is a better way to analyse everything about a participant.
That comes down to statistics again and I am not sure how much that would help. It's usually that the most active ones have earned the most merits, are the most recognized, and have the most posts. Unless, of course, we are talking about bounty spammers who post bounty reports. But those users aren't interesting for this discussion anyways.

There is one category of BPIP I find particularly useful. It's the merit fans of someone. It shows the names of the users who have merited your posts the most. Regardless of what you think about merits, if that section is filled with quality users meriting you and appreciating the content you share, you are on the right track.

Dynamic payment system for posts instead of a fixed one could solve your conundrum. Also, it's good to see how far you have come Royse(From managing Cricket tournament threads to conducting these sort of discussions).

There can be excellent post of 3 words in 250th page of the thread and bad one as long OP.
I never had problem with mega threads, I can not remember if I had restricted members in mega threads ever for the same reason. When looking at weekly posts, it's always better to look at the merit of the post. As long as it's on a desire board/sub-board, I am fine with it.
Many times I paid posts (even $6) which had not even 5 words but it perfectly fitted the discussion and took a lot of time to write those 5 words than writing an AI generated or very generalized essay.

But I think we all are doing just fine. That's what make us unique than each others. You have your way of approving a post, icopress has his own way. Other managers have their own unique identity too.

The peculiarity is that when a user crosses the mark of 3000 merits (mostly), he stops thinking about merits, so his posts are organic and such users are very interesting to managers. In addition, as soon as the user begins to position participation in the campaign as a hobby and not as an income, he immediately becomes desirable for any manager (believe me, this is very noticeable).

I want to add that no project will invest resources in marketing initiatives if there are no tangible results, and there will be none if the published posts are lost in mega threads (after all, the highest quality discussion fits on the first two pages of the thread).
How did you reach a number of 3000 merit and are we taking in account airdropped merit. By your logic I would assume we are not since they were airdropped based on longevity on forum not qoulity of posts. I did not reach 3000 merits but i also did not write a post to just fill campaign quota in  very long time. Almost never hit 50 posts mark in CM and always wrote quite a bit more then limit in Sinbad for example.

Second point about highest qoulity discussion fitting on first two pages is also totally wrong in my experience. Granted that experience is skewed since i am writing mostly in gambling sections but I will always rather write in some pool discussion thread like our FPL and I will read every post there while I will never even open threads like:
Has your Responsible Gambling had any of these Effects on You?
China crackdown against gambling streaming
Socialtournaments-A way to stop gambling addiction

Those three are only non mega threads in first 10 topics on gambling discussion at the moment. And without opening them I am quite sure they are very bad and you are saying you would prefer to target them as a manager?

I hate generalizations. There can be excellent post of 3 words in 250th page of the thread and bad one as long OP. We have to place some rules in campaigns to make it possible to deny bad posts but when grading posts I am judging each one by itself and often accepting stuff I could decline if following rules to the letter.

What about an example like me, my username is also an example in a way
I am among those who received 1000 airdropped merit and my Legendary status was thus guaranteed. This enabled me to have a relaxed performance and use the forum. I had no need to participate in any "merit collection" activities. Without participating in the contest, without opening the overview of overview threads, whatever. I even avoided such things. I mostly enjoyed this forum.
Now the line is drawn at 3000 merits, does that mean I should change my habits on this forum?

What you did for YoMix is good, however the approach you take for this campaign depends on first of all your participants.

It can be viewed from different angles.
A few participants get ham, cheese and sausages, while the others only get bread. When you put them all together, you can say that they are eating pizza.
Is it really so?

I'm just saying that you can't have the best-paid campaign at the same time, while most of the participants don't even reach the average.

What you did for YoMix is good, however the approach you take for this campaign depends on first of all your participants. Are your participants making more high quality posts compared to similar campaigns? If so, give them larger reward, such as $250.

I have never seen any campaign have a 50 post limit since Chipmixer, and that's because you will literally have to spend several hours each week to reach the quota with good posts, so this may strain your participants. 40 is in line with the other campaigns.
