+1 on figuring out how to do the setup by the trustee, 2 weeks of non-operation at the beginning of october would be costly.

Using teamviewer to help setting the miners up using a host machine sounds like a pretty good solution.

I vote for the device to be hosted/setup by trustee too (and for some reward of course).

We can guide him for the installation or use teamviewer to do some setup.

Thanks.

The devices that were bought for my hosting, will be launched after my arriving home.

The most disappointing part for me.

14 days ~= 0.048 BTC/GH ~= 0.24 BTC per share ~= 5.8 BTC per device ~= 30% of initial price and 30% of all-time revenue considering that expected ROI is close to 1 now Sad

Is there any possibility that you trustee man can (maybe for some reward) set up the devices or at least plug them in so they can be accessed remotely? Just multiply 5.8 BTC by the number of hosted devices, that's a shitload of money, even 10% of it is worth at least trying to launch them.

I don't understand why you can't ship out of Russia any more.

Hi! Important update.
1. Parcel from MetaBank will come to my town at the end of this week (Friday or Saturday). This is good news. Then there would be bad news.
2. Since September, I'm on a business trip outside the city and I will have to stay there until October 14. Thus, self-pick it up I cannot. Perhaps the trustee man will collect the parcel. If he will be given parcel, then on Monday (September 30) he will send the devices to customers who paid for shipping. The devices that were bought for my hosting, will be launched after my arriving home.
3. I know the situation that has arisen with BitCentre. After receiving devices, trustee man consults in the transport company (not DHL) about the possibility of sending this technology abroad. If he cannot find legitimate ways to send devices, the refund will be made or whether the devices will be used for my hosting. On this issue, I will write in more detail on Monday, if trustee man will be given a parcel.
Sorry for this double fail! For faster response to your questions better write them via email or Skype.

Or, are shipped customers getting or can get refunds?

Pitobir, can you ask Metabank?

I am curious too. Please let me know. Thanks.

So, a Russian citizen can't send a package to someone overseas?  Won't that be an issue for the non hosted customers of pidobir too?

Does that mean overseas customers will become hosted customers?

Yep looks like Metabank will have units to ship to pidobir and fsb4000 now. Feel bad for those Bitcentury guys that flew to Moscow, etc. though.

It seems some bad news has hapened to bitcentury GB. DHL declined shipping due lack of FSB ID outside of Russia.
Just wanted to warn about this to pidobir GB. Metabank did issued bitcentry GB refund though.
Of course this is only important for buyers outside of Russia.

Metabank are just aweful.

A Gh/s drop with the promise that accepting the lower hash meant fast shipping
Then they don't ship fast at all, they fall behind the other bitfury manufacturers
Then the slow shipping date they've set, they miss.

Had we ordered with megabigpower, who ordered AFTER us.. we would have a 400Gh/s unit hashing already.
Instead we get the Two WeeksTM treatment

I also blame bitfury who chose Metabank as his first and (for several weeks) only retailer, then used the money collected from us to produce chips that have been hashing away to our disadvantage.

So we are now getting 100 ghs instead of 120?
Yes
100-110 Gh/s

But Those devices should be able to get overclocked hard, am i right ?
If you check out those BFSB devices, which should run at 25gh/s but run nearly on 60gh/s, there should be a lot OC potential ?

I'm currently selling 8 of my Shares, if you're interested CLICK ME.
BFSB starter kit were delivered with two 25ghs hashing unit instead of one hashing unit. Although each hashing unit can be overlocked to 30ghs-33ghs.
I think pidobir won't overlock it util unit brake even due losing warranty.
Beside, BFSB hashing board has 16 bitfury chips and when overlocked run at 2 ghs per chip(32ghs per board) . Metabank has 5 hashing board with 8 asic chip on each with speed at 2,5-2,9 ghs. With 2,5ghs per chip one board produce 20ghs and five hashing at 100ghs. So there is not much room for overlocking potential as BFSB miners. For metabank unit 120ghs each asic need to hash at 3ghs what is bitfury chip higher hashing limit.
I sold my shares a while ago but countinue to watch how this gb are doing.
Whish you all the best  Smiley

To be honest i hope we clock them as much as possible ; ).

What do you say pidobir, possible for you to set a higher clock ?
