Think for yourself
Can the operator then help a brother out? I only have 25 NMC set my NMC address and set the auto payout to be .1. I've waited several hours and those aren't moving. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Not big on patience are you?

IMO the fees here are justified by the stellar uptime and operator responsiveness

Pools yesterday 21. of nov. 2013

GHASH.io = 21 Blocks with avg. 1.250 Th/s
Eligius = 17 Blocks with avg. 600 Th/s
Bitminter = 7 Blocks with avg. 300 Th/s
BTCGulde = 38 Blocks with avg. 1.350 Th/s

Fee or not to fee, this is the question? Or not?! I say i will pay an fee but i can earn
some more with 38 found blocks as with 17 found blocks. I´m on btcguilde since yesterday evening 09:30 pm.

I will post my stats (1 x Jupiter) this night.

I have an other question, what is better:

a) delivering shares with an diff of 1024 (on my Jupiter) or shares with an lower diff (on eligius my shares mixed 128 / 256 / 512 but no 1024)
    Will the shares with higher diff paid better?

Everyone tells me to pool at Eligius because I'll make more return but I feel more comfortable at BTC Guild, even with the higher fees compared to the others.

Small automatic payouts (payouts under 0.10 get processed in a separate batch) got stuck a little earlier today.  A few runs of the automatic payout script were run to clear up any backlog that was caused by the delay.  Larger auto payouts and manual payouts were unaffected.

I have over 25 NMC, so it wasn't a small payout. It is still not paying out and I don't have a manual payout button for NMC.

The higher the difficulty, the higher the variance. Over days, weeks, years, decades, it all should average out. Simply, if your choice is 1024 or 128, the 1024 shares will pay 8 times more than the 128 shares, but you will find the 128 shares 8 times as often, on average.

I will switch to 128 with 1024 i have an avg. of 360,000 shares per shift.
Is is to low or ok.

I will see it when the next shift is filled.

Is it correct, that I will be paid for every delivered / accepted share inside the shift?

Thanx for feedback.

Is there any other thread about btc gulid?

Your shares per shift should roughly reflect your speed vs the pool speed.  So if you have 1300 GH/s and the pool is 1300 TH/s, you should be 0.1% of the shares in a shift.  At this time, shifts are 1 billion shares.  It will fluctuate between shifts based on your personal luck, as well as the pool's speed fluctuations.

Without knowing your mining speed, I can't provide much guidance on the proper difficulty.  128 should be fine as a starting point, the pool will adjust it higher if it's needed.

Is there any other thread about btc gulid? Or why we here have not so no much traffic / posts?

I found this:
https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=support§ion=howamipaid

With PPLNS, each open shift is paid the following:
((Block Value + Transaction Fees) / 10) - Pool Fee (3%)

And with PPS this:

(1 / Network Difficulty * 25) - Pool Fee (7.5%)

where can i see what you wrote?

API apps may currently be broken due to attack mode being activated on Cloudflare.  Somebody is slamming the web server pretty hard.  The new API server is hopefully coming up within the next few days which will not be required to go through a cloudflare server [which breaks most API pollers when Attack Mode is turned on].

Can you tell us what their targeted retail price is?

What about adding a US$ payment option to your store for these items? I assume you've already considered it, but figured I'd throw it out there.

Hey eleuthria, have the AM folks gotten back to you about the Cubes?

They have, but I'm not sure if I'm going to bite on them.  Due to the big fluctuations in BTC:USD, they're quoting a price in USD for once.  Unfortunately, that puts me in the situation where by buying cubes for inventory, I'm basically betting against the value of BTC rising between the time I place the order and the time I sell them.

It just occurred to me, BTCguild has about 25,000 users(accounts). could you imagine what it would be like if they were all as much of a pain in the ass in this forum as the usual 15 -20 of us usually are? Shocked

You missed a 0.  BTC Guild has over 250,000 users.  Of those, about 9,000 are active on any given shift.  37,000 have logged into the site within the last week.

oh, i just noticed active at the time. surely some of those accounts are no longer active.

Oh don't get me wrong, I do like bits of blockchain.info.  The problem is they load a bunch of data that can best be described as "wild ass guesses".  Unfortunately, because of the name they used, it makes people believe they are some kind of authority which actually knows these things, when in fact they're often quite wrong.

Any alternatives?
