First number is what you found, if you were solo mining it would only show at 21.3M, second number is the minimum, in pools it's usually 1. Solo mining would be 21.3M

I was wondering what dose the "Diff #/#" mean? (cgminer version 3.1.1) I'm a first time user of this program.

So excited with these little guys that my friedcat t-shirt just isn't enough anymore:

3-color silkscreen print on 100% cotton shirt. $18 plus S&H, but the price drops to $15+S&H if we can get enough orders. Smiley

using cgminer 3.3.0 or 3.2.1

cgminer-nogpu.exe -o poolname -u username -p password --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100 -S COMx

i get

cgminer-nogpu.exe: -S: unrecognized option

followed these instructions
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/how-to-use-asicminer-block-erupters-with-cgminer-on-windows-7-220450

works fine in bitminter but would like the option to change pools

any suggestions?

With CGMiner 3.2x and above you don't use the icarus options nor the -s.

Just use

cgminer-nogpu.exe -o poolname -u username -p password

and CGMiner will do the rest for you and will start mining with all your devices.

Don't forget to setup some failover pools.
Sam

Edit: Follow the ASIC Readme with CGMiner.  Also review the advances USB options in the regular readme.

thanks for the help guys the problem was the zadig driver i installed it but didnt do it right. it was blank when you load it, i just hit install. you have to list all devices from the menu then choose the usb ports then install. remove the icarus and -s settings and it starts right up

EDIT: Problem was I was following the 3.1.1 instructions and installing the COM drivers right afterwards, which was removing the WINUSB drivers. step 1) use zag to install WINUSB drivers, step 2) launch cgminer 3.3.0 with normal options (pool, username, etc)without icarus options and it works

You'll need the zadig winusb drivers for 3.2 and above.  -S is depreciated unless you're on 3.1.x with the FTDI drivers.

I just got mine. 2 red and 2 black.
Had them mining in under 2 minutes.
Thank you for your amazing customer service.

Question: Is it better to set up a worker for each one of them or is it ok to run them all under one worker?

I've got five per worker.

I have 6 Erupters at the moment and have 2 per worker per pool in 3 different CGMiner sessions.  Using the -ICA:2 argument in CGMiner 3.3.1 and has been working great.

But if your only mining on one pool at a time just run them all in one instance with one worker.  Just make sure you have failover pools setup.
Sam

What does -ICA:2 do in the new version? Does it limit it to two icarus devices?

I left off a bit, it should be --usb ICA:2.  But yes it limits that session to two Icarus devices.

also canary i'd like to say thanks for the fast shipping i ordered 2 of these from WTCR in canada on 6/24 the day after the price drop and before you announced the group buy and I have YET to receive it from them. Its not really their fault, they shipped the next day. One interesting note is theirs passed through the same IL hub as yours last saturday then departed it for VA, then reentered the same facility on July 2nd (screwup?) while you sent yours monday night and I have it today (wednesday)

Got my 10 Canary, thank you! - 5 Red, 5 Black.  Not that I care.  Up and hashing.  Had issues with win7 and drivers.  Ended up using Bitminter and it works well.  I suppose it does not matter as you can't really tweak these things can you.  They are all at 335-336 Mhps.
