I do not like the fact I can see what account numbers tie to what ip's. This should be privileged information.

And who knows what is your account?
The system should be transparent to forge

Anyone that gets my account number gets my IP unless I mask it. I think this is a security flaw.

If you want to keep it this way then setup a proxy setting page.

8 Connected Peers? Why so few?

you do not see all the peers. Only linux client will show the full list http://nodemoney.com:19775/#/peers

would be nice to have a view where u can see your forged blocks

see "Generator" http://nodemoney.com:19775/#/blocks

Added questions to that post. So only showing 8 is not a problem? I am still connected to them all?

yes

Is it possible to make the website (localhost:19775 or yourdomain.com:19775) secured by ssl? I tried that but https://yourdomain.com:19775 does not work on my server that has a ssl certificate.
If you want secured access to the web interface at your server, you can tunnel your requests via ssh.
Try this:

ssh -L20775:localhost:19775 [email protected]

Then you can reach the interface at localhost:20775 and all traffic is secured by ssh.

quite interesting. Thanks!
Better than accessing the interface without ssl. Still nothing for a public interface though.

So if my IP isnt showing up at nodemoney.com . I take it im not forging?

your ip must appear at nodemoney.com:19775 (warning nodemoney.com:20000 is the testnet, no need to use it except in limited situation)
if not, there is a problem to solve.

Cant figure it out. I am connected to 8 peers on the network and still my IP is not showing up on nodemoney.com Huh

try login to nodemoney.com with different account

Thats what I have been doing. I have my real account open connected to 8 peers and have been logging into nodemoney.com with a random account to check the IP

Problem solved. I restarted local client and it just worked. no idea why it didnt show up first time.
