Deep Onion = soon to be the #1 ANON COIN!
September 20, 2014, 06:12:26 AM
The price is only going down because there was about 1000 people with 600.000 Nodes, and not everyone dump his coin at the beginning, so this are only stake dumpers.
It has nothing to do with the coin.

imo in 2-3 weeks are the most stakes are dumped and the price will be stable, when the the devs than deliever something, it will grow steady.

So i would say, sell your coins now, buy back when you can make 50% or 100% more coins and hold.

I agree completely.

Lol. Why people believe others about price predictions? Everybody act on their own interests. Node is a good coin, and in the next months the price will go up together with the new developments.

I totally agree, it makes my jaw hit the floor at how people panic and sell because the early investors are not done dumping yet and the price takes a dip.  This stage will eventually pass, you don't need to worry.  Devs getting caught lying, going MIA, fraudulent features, etc those are things that yo would actually need to worry about.  NODE and its devs have been rock solid, and this is just the beginning.  For a good example, Blackcoin has taken some big hits, but if you go look in their thread, the confidence is sky high.  Why?  Because the community and development efforts are strong, and Blackcoin has a TRUSTED reputation for being hardworking and honest.  Because Blackcoin knows that they will be successful in the LONG TERM.

That's what matters.

Okay So I have a few question after reading the whitepaper.

How does the network protect against sybil attacks ?
It seems to me that i can get a load of confirmation if i set up a load of malicous nodes.

Is it really true that the node that is about for forge broadcasts this intention to the network ?
This sounds to me as if the node is screaming "Hey - pleas DDoS me" Smiley Is this really safe ?

So the uptime is calculated from the time the nodes coms online first at which points he broadcasts to the network.
What if he broadcasts a bogus date or time ? Are there any limits ? is the networktime syncronized ?

In the Node will be put in the black list of IP that make invalid requests
For the time will follow starting Peers and other clients then they will consider real-time connection. After all, when you first start the client, all clients are aware of the time of each client. Before generating block network checks the validity of his time

the white paper seems very clean and tidy .  why is the price  becoming lower?
Bittrex hype dying down, unless bittrex adds soon, price will probably slowly drop down back to 80.

Yes the time is to sell is now.  NODE could fall down to 80 or even as low as 60.
There just isn't really any buyers yet as NODE is still largely unknown, even on Bitcointalk people really don't know about this.

How should we fix this?!
What do you suggest??

Don't believe him, TaunSew is just a troll and he is trying to dump the price.

My node client is only connected to 2 peers.. is this normal?

I've seen a few people post with the same issue. Hopefully the next client will improve the connectivity.

The windows client only shows two peers but they are connected to more, the dev knows and will be fixed in future clients.

Tonight will be a new version for Windows, which will show all the "Peers"

And... I'm out.  Maybe I'll get back in later but people seem to be disappointed in the whitepaper, and the market's reflecting that.  Maybe this will go somewhere.  Too bad no one answered my basic question pages ago of when this coin would be going to Bittrex.  Oh well.  Good luck everyone.

This is false.  The market is not selling because they are disappointed in the whitepaper.  Since trading has opened, the VAST majority of sell orders have been very close to 600k...the size of a stake.  This means that the early bird investor dumping stage is not yet over.  It's certainly understandable given how many got one for next to nothing (or completely free).  In fact, considering how many are dumping, the price is actually holding up remarkably well.  Don't forget also that Bter is a site primarily used by the Chinese market, and a TON of Chinese investors are liquidating their assets to invest in the Alibaba IPO.  And for goodness sake, it's been less than 48 hours since Bittrex even SUGGESTED they were interested in NODE! Do you think coins get added overnight?  Give it some time.  It is supposedly also being added to Poloniex.  Those will be huge boosts to NODE and bring in a whole new audience that has yet to discover it. Nobody can predict how long it will take the early investor dumpers to exhaust their supply, but look at how strong our community is already in such a short time.  Look at the sites that want to add NODE already.  Look at the solid communication the devs have shown already.  If NODE can come this far in such a short time, we have a very bright future to look forward to.

Agreed. It's still very early to shout something.
