Thank for the advise on Bitstamp. I will definitely look into it after this transaction with Gox, as I have already transferred my funds I have to wait an see what happens I guess. But as I mentioned earlier, I've made a couple of transactions with Gox at this point and have not had any issues so far except the occasional website down msg.

I can say that my experience with Bitstamp has been very good too (24/48 h with SEPA transfers). Furthermore, I had a really bad experience with a transfer to Gox in 2012 June. It took around a month to assing it in my account (the price during that period rised around 58% from the beginning to the last of the transaction), that encouraged me to look for other exchanges...

yes, I transfer about 4k Euro in 3 groups in total in last 3 months. Once they receive Euro, they will exchange it to dollar with current rate (about 1.25-1.3) it was always really fast and without any troubles. Otherwise, it was every-time SEPA transfer (wire transfer within Europe). from my point of view, waiting time under 48 hours is fine..

SEPA might take some time, I had similar issue. I was suggested to cancel my SEPA transfer and use international. I waited.. about 1,5month.. finally it went through.

edit: it migth be both ways that SEPA is slow due to queues and limits of somekind..

You asked the wrong person here - I'm the one holding the account there. There's no regular status of the sort - the order simply turns from Pending ->processing -> Chips ordered. We're at processing now.

To bad the chip manufacturer doesn't give regular status updates, I'd love to have see their process steps and when they take/took place.

As the escrow here I'm also responsible to place the orders so that the funds never reach OP too. It'll be harder to hawk chips on the local black market than running with the coins. Tongue

Yeah, they don't even reply my emails despite the fact that I have 2 paid orders (this gb and ragingazn's gb), and is in the process of sending 2-3 more in. Undecided

I guess they must be bogged with shipping Avalon #2/3 orders now...
