Today I received my Denarium Custom Value coins, one loaded, one empty. It was send in a little carton box with Invoice, Activiation card sticked on it and the coins were in paper bag. The coins are in a red carton, very nice, inside there is serial number, public key and public address with QR code.
I opened one capsule (wearing gloves) to see the quality of the coin. To be honest I am a little dissapointed
details like the text are great but there are quite some scratches and pitches on the coin. I was hoping for better quality... but they are a nice addition to my collection

All of our coins are numbered. The Custom coins start at L3081 for the Loaded series, at E1100 for the Empty series and at M5 for the Multisig series. There are no reservations for the serial numbers so customers will get serials by chance.

Are physical Bitcoins outlawed in the US?
They are not outlawed but selling loaded physical bitcoins is restricted. This is problematic even for companies not located in the US because the US has a tendency to apply their regulations worldwide. To avoid trouble we are shipping only unloaded coins to the US. Those can be easily loaded with bitcoin value by the customer.

Yes, easily. Each coin has the beginning of the public address on the hologram (backside) and also in a separate paper there is the full public address as text & as a QR code. So it is very easy.
These new coins also have the full public key on paper which allows the customer to do all kinds of fancy stuff with the coins such as personal multisig solutions.

Production update. We are soon starting assembly of the Custom Value coins and if everything goes well, we could start shipping them at the end of the upcoming week. This also means that we will be able to soon post the first real pictures of the actual coin!

Oh, i thought that discounts will be on sunday too. But there is no problem, i had time to do it. Just bought 10 1/100 denarium coins , i will give it to some friends as a gift on new years holidays.
