Any pictures yet?
Can I reserve one?
No pictures yet, but soon.

No reservations for these. The way it works is there will be auctions for the first 50 coins and thus the first serials. Largest bids will receive the lowest serials and so on. These 50 coins will be auctioned in 3 auctions (20 coins, 15 coins, 15 coins). The rest of the series (200 coins) will be put on sale on our website and they will be priced based on the auction results.

This is a very limited run. Due to time constraints the 2015 edition of this coin will be only 250 coins, ever, and that's it.

Additionally we are planning to launch one more coin product this year, later, which will be a very limited run (50 coins) of the Special Edition 1 BTC coin. It is the same coin but with a gold finish. Thus in reality we're producing 300 coins of this series but we'll put 50 aside for the SE run which will have a handmade gold finish. That coin will have a different serial range so we consider it a completely different coin.

Gentlemen, you had my curiosity ... but now you have my attention.

Can't wait for pictures! Smiley

Quite a fancy case Cheesy Will some of the new products fit this case too? Smiley
The no-denomination coin is same size as the 1/10 & 1/100 coins so those will fit this case. The 1 BTC coin is much larger, it's a 1oz silver coin. For those we will have a more expensive case, really nice one.

A question:

Why is the guy in the opening splash video on the website handling the coins with no gloves / protective measures??  Huh
There is an answer to this in the FAQ as well but let me explain again.

We did that marketing video with 3 prototype coins with no idea of our actual production process. At the time we actually knew much less about physical coin production and much more about Bitcoin.

The actual production process has been done with gloves and microfiber cloths all the way. We haven't touched any of the sold coins with our bare hands.

Here are some pictures of our actual production table, which was much later than the video: https://twitter.com/DenariumBitcoin/status/614438586595864576

As for the video, we are probably going to replace it soon with other promotional pictures and videos. Or at least add others as a slideshow.

between a rock and a block!
Can I sign up somewhere to be notified once the new coins hit the market? I need to extend my coin collection. Grin
We will announce everything here and also at our Twitter (https://twitter.com/denariumbitcoin) & Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Denarium-Bitcoin-409674935852238/) accounts.

There will be time for everything. The auctions for the 1 BTC coins will last a few days each. Also, the no-denomination coin pre-order will start with a timer. So no worries.

Eodguy149 is right, it is indeed a standing horse. I'm not sure which picture was used as a reference but that one has the right idea.

Small update on what is going on at our end. We're still confirming the designs and production process for our new coins with our manufacturer. It won't take long until we can launch.

Looks like the custom amount no-denomination coin we'll be able to deliver for the Christmas market which means in December at the latest. The 1 BTC special collector's coin will be delivered in January, it looks like.

The no-denomination coins will enter regular pre-orders soon, with the 1 BTC coin we're doing it a bit differently. First 50 will be auctioned in 3 different auctions (20, 15, 15) and then the rest will be put to normal pre-order (200). The first batch of the 1 BTC coins is 250 coins.

Official announcement about this is coming as soon as we can prepare everything for the launch. This will be big and exciting, wait for it!

I'm seeing something like this:

Cool use of negative space on the Denarium coin I think. Obviously art is in the eye of the beholder  Wink

On the 1/10 btc Denarium coins, what is the graphic on the front of the coin?  I'm having a hard time trying to figure it out.  I thought that it was Finland but it isn't.   Huh

Looks like a horse reared up on its hind legs to me  Smiley

The head looks like a panda/bear smiling and the back end looks like a dino/lizard with webbed feet (and the rest of the tail didn't make it onto the coin) Wink

I thought it was Italy that was messed up a bit.  Like Italy was breaking apart near Rome.

Ordered a few unloaded rounds and looking forward to receiving them.

Anyone who has a few extra of the loaded series (that don't have too many scratches/dings) PM me and I will pay an extra $10 in BTC per coin to take them off your hands. I only want one or two good example of each. I am in the US and cannot order loaded ones directly. Trades possible as well.

I second this.  I would like 1 or 2 of the load ones.  Either 1/10 or 1/100 just to have around.  Since I'm in the USA I cannot order them directly.  I am looking to order a few of the unload coins just to have.

I just grabbed the new air-tites from the mailbox and they look good, no damage whatsoever.  The new coins in them look much better and I was surprised to see the air-tites were packaged so well.

Thanks for the quick shipment and service.  Smiley

With that being said I'm pretty jealous, wish I would have waited to order mine until they switched...
