Not long. Right now we are finishing the emails and letters that include the activation info. This will be finished tomorrow. Then we start shipping.

The activation system itself is not completely finished which means that the first customers to receive coins might not be able to load their L series coins immediately but that situation won't last for long. And we also have the ability to manually load certain orders if someone is in a hurry.

We don't pre-load them because the package would be much more valuable then. That would increase our losses if they get lost in mail and also add incentives to steal them. We could protect from this with insured mail but that is very expensive. Thus they are not loaded when shipped but loaded within 24 hours of activation which can be made by the customer upon delivery.

So, let me see if I got that correctly... Series L coins also come unloaded and by registering they get loaded? I thought they already came loaded (you guys even had those issues with not shipping to the USA, because you can't ship loaded coins there).

Just an added note that all orders made now are also scheduled for shipping in July. Once the shipping starts, it will proceed quickly. We already have some additional coins assembled and we can fairly quickly assemble more. We have materials for over 2k extra coins at the moment.

As far as I know, we are also using the activation form for the E series simply because it's a sign for us that the coins have been received. Although technically it's not required for the customer to do that.

In any case we are working as fast as we can. We don't want to be BFL #2 with our shipping...

What about non-loaded coins? They don't need that activation tool, so they could be shipped right now, correct? If so, please do. I can't wait to receive my coins!

In short, we have assembled all pre-order coins and shipping will start *soon*. Our only bottleneck is the coin activation system which is still unfinished. As even the loaded coins are sent empty and loaded by the customer, we have been building an automated activation tool which is soon finished.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure if we are able to ship in June since we want to make sure the activation tool is solid. But we're very close now.

Also as it stands we will be shipping all of the orders within 1 week or so, once the shipping starts.

Remembered to check Denarium's website today and I now see an invoice has been added to my order, with today's date (nice coincidence!). Are the coins being shipped? This is the last week of June, after all...

Sorry for being a bit inactive here, we've been very busy producing the coins! The above tweet outlines where we're at.

We have spent a lot of time coming up with a secure and efficient process for producing the coins.

Currently we have produced around 400 coins with the technical process still being enhanced. I think that soon our production speed will increase significantly.

We haven't shipped any coins yet because we don't have all types of coins produced in sufficient quantity to fulfill the early orders but soon we'll have enough to ship the first coins.

The coins will be shipped based on order date, more or less. Meaning that coins ordered earlier will also be shipped earlier.

Unfortunately I must say that coins ordered now will not make it to June shipping any longer. All coins ordered at this time or later will be shipped in July. We have 2500 coins extra to be produced for July delivery so feel free to order them at this time.

No they won't be accepted and it will be stupid to do that , since it's not a physical but digital currency and the physical coin has a value of it's own.
So you can transfer the bitcoin from it after getting the privkey to the shopkeeper if he accepts bitcoin.
