Anyone interested in a group buy to the US??

I am going in on 1 each of the loaded ones.

I would like to intervene here a little and remind everyone that we can't sell loaded (L series) to the US. Series E is no problem however.

What if we buy them second hand from someone who bought them from the EU?

Awesome project but I still think those graphics are ugly. Are you planning a new series with updated design?

We were testing some security features at the site and there was a major bug. It works normally now.

Looks like a Wordpress security plugin, but that's all I can say about it.

Hello,

I got just something wrong here. I dunno if it just me, but I cannot order your coins. The reason: everytime I try to add those coins into the cart the "sentinel" security system jumps up and alerts me claiming the website is under "potential hacker attack" from my IP.

Really, WTF? I dont have any viruses on my PC, even if I change OS to Linux (not Windows 7 I am currently on) its the same. Changing browser from Firefox to IE doesn't work as expected either.

PS: Every other website like Amazon, Ebay is working pretty well here. So it is your website.

As odolvlobo explained, the coins have a fixed price regardless of which coin and which series. The bitcoin amount is simply added on top of the price in the case of the L series. All of our margin is included in the price of the physical coin.

I'd like to add that we have discounts for ordering 10+, 100+ and 1000+. The discounts can be seen from the product pages. I would also like to get feedback on this as we're still trying to figure out the optimum discount levels - what do you guys think of the current discount tiers and do you have suggestions?

The coin itself has a fixed price (about $10). Compare the prices of the empty coins.

If I'm reading the website right I think the loaded 1/100 coin is priced 300% greater than face while the 1/10 coin is priced 30% greater than face (did I do my math right) - what's the reason for this difference in premium between the coins?

Thanks.

Here goes some pictures. Only took 3, as Mitchełł already did a much better job than me photographing these coins Cheesy

I have to agree, the hologram looks quite nice Cool

It's the return of the Casascius S2 hologram.

Indeed our coins have a lot of similarities to the Casascius coins. The main thing is the pricing of course, we want to sell coins that are priced in a way Casascius coins used to be, back in the day. But the product itself has a lot of similarities: the coin is the same size, made of the same material and the hologram is similar to the Casascius S2 hologram.

The differences are that our coins each have a unique serial number on the hologram which allows for not only added collector value but unique usability features. The upcoming Denarium Explorer will allow anyone to quickly see the full Bitcoin address and the current balance of that particular coin (based on realtime blockchain data) by simply typing in the serial number.

Also the private key inside has differences. The format is the same as the later Cas coins which means it's a 30-character minikey format. But the difference is that we also have a QR code and the key is around it in a circle. The QR code can be scanned by modern smartphones that have a decent camera and this allows for really fast key import.

The serial number explorer idea sounds really good, looking forward to see it! Thanks for our coins Cheesy

Just logged in to say my coins have just arrived. Only opened the envelope to check if everything is fine, looks like it is Smiley I'll be having a busy day, so I'll activate the coins later and I'll look at them more carefully then. I'll probably post a picture or two, too.

Just a first impression: although I thought the coins were bigger, they do look quite impressive and their design is simple, which really pleases me. I also liked the envelope with the QR codes and the detail of these codes on the seal. Good thing I didn't come for pictures after all, it would spoil the surprise! Tongue

Really good pics by Mitchełł!

About the private key slip - the full minikey is around the QR code in a circle. Our first coin products don't have a "inner recess" for the slip but the size of the slip is basically the same as the smallest visible circle on the hologram side of the coin.

I think I've posted on here before but now that pictures have been released following shipment I can say that the coin does indeed look nice. I like the hologram too especially as it resembles the Casascius coins.
On your website you mention the coin having both a 30 figure minikey and a QR code, but on the example demotion video on your site the clip is too short and only shows the QR code. Any information with regards to where the minikey is and how big the inner recess is that houses the private key?

Thanks Smiley

Terminated.
I really like the hologram. I think it's the best part about the coin, but well, that is my personal opinion. Grin

Hello Nubbins.  Tongue
I've been secretly watching your thread, but I just did not have enough time to properly express my admiration there. However, these Denarium coins look pretty great. Judging from the pictures I assume that they have only arrived in a envelope? It would be even nicer if they had arrived in some elegant box, but I guess that isn't that important (it's just a personal preference). These coins have pretty nice prices as well, no wonder they they've sold a lot of them.

I'd definitely buy one to add it to my poor Kialara which has entered a state of depression because she's lonely.  Sad
