i m one of the earliest investor for Lbtcl.com, after the reward halved, the website has been disappeared  Huh . It has been 2 months no payout  Cry, contacted the owner, he replied will reimburse back the reward, but it has been 2 months time, nothing i could see in my wallet yet. now cant even browse the website. Haha...

Halving killed most of Ponzi scams, so it is not surprise that they disappear. Next time when you invest even $1 check where you send your money. If you know that this is ponzi, don't be surprised that your money will disappear sooner or later.

Look at  on what happen  on hashocean when the  last  halving approaches, they ran away before   on the halving and many investors  lose  up too much money  on that  ponzi scheme. Its not new  anymore that there would  be still new  cloudmining  sites would exist almost everyday or  everyweek.

Metawin.com - Truly the best casino ever
I'll tell you the real reason why cloud minings are scams.
At first everyone knows that bitcoin is anonymous way to send money and it's possible to earn money with mining it. So many bad people use this situation for them. They offer mining service and it's similar of printing money and also they offer us it for lifetime. Imagine if it would be true, than why aren't they mining for their own? Like many big company's do that? They offer bitcoin mining service because bitcoin is more popular, anonymous and that anonymous way of receiving payments gives them a secure way to scam people. I hope everyone understand what I said.

i wonder if this threat is getting updated in first post ... is megamine still legit(or probably) legit?
knccloud and megamine have some kinda legit sign from here .. and all i can find from megamine is that their latest post in FB or Blog is from 2015 .. and there isn't any new info on them ..
am i missing something here? i found a threat that Joust made it and in last post someone said that he sold out his account ..i'm confused actually ..
is megamine legit or not( based on these 8 factor ) ?

the main idea of the thread is to give you certain criteria by which you can determine if the site is legit, partially legit or plain scam
mind you if the site is deemed legit it could turn scam, but never vice versa Smiley
so if you see that the mining of your choice ticks 7 boxes out of seven you say to yourself 3 times "ponzi, ponzi, ponzi" and close their website Smiley
we cannot list every ponziHYIP pretendeing cloud mining in this topic, because their name is legion and more are popping out every day
so,if the crowd is educated enough and the critical mass DOESN'T bring any money to them, the "business" becomes less and less profitable, hence reducing their numbers

It looks like you miss many informations. This thread is made to warn people like you (in my opinion without experience) before they invest money in Ponzi scams.

In other words: before you invest even one dollar check this thread and think if it can be profitable.. Usually it is just trap!

Hey guys .. some friends of mine suggested flyingbtc to me for investing , i wonder if they're legit or not..  anybody checked it?
And thanks for the great thread..

A quick look results in lots of these

Some friends you've got, suggesting you piss money up the wall by giving it to this crew, "trading since 2013" with a 9 week old website.  Roll Eyes
I'm sure she meant well (my friend ).. and thank you for the warning , i just checked it myself.

It is easy - everyone who want open scam service must know this thread. But they know that "ponzi hunters" are watching this thread as well. So they just throwing info about something - just like piece of meat between hawks.. all of them want win, but they will kill each other first..

good luck! Wink

One more website popped up today, namely Bitlioner.com offering 17KH/s Free Power on Registration...
I think they are one more scam site just like HashOcean, so please don't fall for such offers, do extreme research before investing and even if you invest, invest with care...

Any website that offers free powers and deactivates them after 1 month if you don't buy more hash power I can say with 100% it's a scam based on history of such websites.

Why hashnest doesn't offer free powers ? Because it's a legit website but unfortunately since long ago unprofitable.

This list of ponzi scams keeps growing but it's a very good thing users are becoming less and less in these websites. Now we are seeing some results from all of the warnings that have been made in this forum. Feels great.

I must admit that I am surprised by so many successive fraudulent projects recently.

I hope that this topic will soon be getting easier to find in google!

So why not have a link to this topic in your signature instead  Smiley

Perhaps for the same reason why you do not have it? Wink

I wrote that, because I was surprised by such a large amount, due to the fact that when Puppet opened this thread, I had my own opinion about all Ponzis on market. When i saw this list now.. i dont know most of them.. It looks like i getting older.. Wink

is www.nicehash.com a ponzi?

No. Like tmfp said, it is a service where you can sell your hash power (and get paid in Bitcoins), or can rent hash power (with Bitcoins). There are many different algorithms that you can rent, and you can point them to any pool of your choosing.
