Never seen this issue popping up before, so I'm going to raise it here: members who constantly simply repeat other users' opinions and reply to fulfill their sig campaign minimum post requirement or to boost their account post count & activity.
It's pretty obvious and happens a ton of time especially in megathreads. Only today I've replied to two new threads and have seen at least two members doing it already:
It's more than just one factor that led to the disappointment and .. let's call it the "fall" of altcoins.
First, we have scams. New people get in the cryptocurrency sphere as (...)
And so on.. we have lots of reasons alts have failed. At least most of them. Most people prefer Bitcoin or the top few cryptocurrencies because they're popular and people work hard on (...)
There are only a few still being properly managed & developed and only few will make it through this decade imo. Those who deliver what they promised and who prove to be safe and properly secured & developed will thrive. The rest will go straight to the trashcan. So that's the only right thing you can do: deliver your promises and make your coin be what it was supposed to become when it was born. Otherwise, it'll be placed among the thousands of shitcoins that will most likely never be revived again.
I think the real reasons behind terrible altcoin market are:
Dozens of scams, inactive or abandoned projects in last couple of years which has taken the trust and interest of investors away from altcoin market.
Some projects that are alive and active but are unable to come up with quality finished product even after 2-3 years of time and with many fake promises, such projects have also damaged the altcoin reputation badly.
So at the moment people are looking for only top coins to invest or trade which is hurting altcoin market as well.
* These users have been the first two to reply to the thread I'm quoting and the second quote is off topic. The thread was about using Blockchain to create digital IDs and manage the virus spread. No mention or link to any food or food chain so the shitposting is obvious..
That's interesting food for thought but I doubt such a product could be developed fast enough to be useful for the current coronavirus epidemic. Maybe it could be ready for the next epidemic though.
Sorry, but we've seen a lot of blockchain projects trying to be developed about food chains. But even in a normal period, we saw that they were not successful and could not progress.
In fact, it's not just about food chains. Blockchain is a great technological development, everyone agrees. But I am not sure how accurate it is to apply to Blockchain to solve all the problems in the world. In other words, Blockchain can not cure all of our problems. Instead, it may be time to use blockchain in the right place and look for more rational solutions in other areas.
The first two quotes I put in this thread are everywhere on the forum and I have had enough of these kind of members.. I don't know if it can be called "plagiarizing" but it's something very similar to it anyways.
The last pair of quotes show how bad shitposting is.. New thread, only one reply to it - the user (Nadziratel) prefers to read only lucasholder's reply and give an answer purely based on his reply so Nadziratel goes completely off topic..
I wanted to raise this question many, many times but avoided to.. so I'll do it now: is there anything we can do about these kind of members?
