They are breaking another rule. Making multiple posts in  a row is against rule. They should should edit the previous post.
I usually report posts that are made in a row for no reason and they are always marked as good.
Sometimes there is a legitimate reason to make multiple posts in a row. For example when the post is too large and the content cannot be posted in a single post. Like what LoyceV sometimes do for posting data.
I also don't report posts when the previous post has been made more than 24 hours ago and the poster has something to say.
The user you are talking about is definitely breaking the rules.  

I have a question regarding OP practice in recently created [ANN][AAB] AAX - The World’s First Digital Asset Exchange by LSEG Technology.

So, on top of answering each question separately ( mostly sock puppet accounts it seems, ill come to that part later) he is making 4-5 posts per day on his ANN, sharing various news, announcement etc. Few examples from today, he shared those in 30 minutes or so.

I know about 24 hour bump rule, my question is does it apply only when you don't have anything to share really and you just wanna bump your thread, or it applies in general?

Regarding sock puppets, so far i identified 9  newbie accounts that have few things in common (majority of them joined their bounty campaign too) and are showing standard m.o. of thread bumping with their fake conversations

• Accounts are made between July 3rd and July 15th 2019
• Inactive since 2019 and then suddenly  waking up when AAX appeared
• Since waking up  they are writing exclusively in AAX ANN

I see the threads are deleted now (almost all of them). Did you report them? We can't do more than just report them. Sometimes those who post in spammy threads don't realize that if the thread gets removed, they loose all their precious posts So if you give the spammer s bit more time with the thread and then report it,  those who posted there might learn their lesson when the thread gets trashed.

Thread spammer. the account was created today and the user already made 8 threads is just under 2 hours. and most of his threads have already been discussed before.

True, maybe that bumping system should be extended on few other boards as well that has similar issues. I mean, it is obvious to experienced users that all those conversations are fake, but some new inexperienced user might fall for it. And they probably do.

Yes, I completely agree with you. I usually report such posts whenever I see them. Those posts cause some newbies to think that the project is reputable and trustworthy. That's why this kind of pumping is still helpful for them and they continue to hire people to make posts in their threads.

I just meant that what is going on in that thread on gambling board is even worse than that. (Because of bumping rules).
Those posts make fake volume and at the same time make the thread more visible at top of the board.

The new bumping system implemented by theymos in some boards causes the problem to be less severe. But as you said there is still a big problem with fake volume in those boards. There are still bumping services active in those threads.
 

Problem with this is that they will start shilling and get attention then someone not related to them might leave comment, and bump it.
Bubblegum Coin thread didn't reach top, but they are at the moment at the first page on the board, and that's bad enough. That means their shilling is working. I reported those posts, hopefully they will be deleted soon.
