Give him a break....what if it was really hacked?
Hacking isn't that uncommon in crypto. If he wanted to bail ..why would he come back?
To dev: If your account gets hacked you can make another account and post an update/inform mod with new account When people you see your thread locked they'll panic and your priority should be informing them about what is going on.

We managed to recover our password very quickly, attacker didn't had access to our e-mail. Creating account to post something would only delay password recovery.
Thanks for an update. Your twitter account is hacked too..you should fix that as well. Good luck!
