my points is that most of the people who are here for selling and buying bitcoins only are mostly not interested on merits. They are only here for personal purposes. Don't get me wrong on that part.
Well, if they're not interested in Merits them let them not be? I think it's better not to have an interest in earning merits than having one, those who are writing on the forum without any interest of earning something or increasing their post count are more to be appreciated than those writing threads 24/7 in a desperate attempt to earn a little merit imo.

Merits are really part of a game, that allows one to rank-up, perhaps be considered in certain campaigns, and to gain some kind of reputation, but that’s really it. Although the main driver idea is that it should lead to the creation of better content, and reward those that provide it, it does have a lateral effect which is that of creating precisely too many redundant topics, in the hope of earning some merits. This is a general observation, and one has to accept it as part of the game.

Nevertheless, creating topics should not be a goal per se, and simple useful answers can be way more enlightening than topics (although, often, instead of a useful fluid constructive dialog, we see redundant responses with little added value, for the sake of meeting campaign quotas).

so why isolate these members from the community? If one wants to register solely for posting on Off-topic boards, why isolate them?
That is not what I mean, I don't blame those people who are having threads on off topic or those people who want to buy and sell bitcoin, my points is that most of the people who are here for selling and buying bitcoins only are mostly not interested on merits. They are only here for personal purposes. Don't get me wrong on that part.

Those threads are really great, I have read those threads before and it finds so useful. There are many people here who want to make money and they don't want how can it be. Beginners should rank up first before they earn money here. They should apply in some campaigns and bounties to get paid from their posts.

You should create meaningful and helpful posts for you to get merits in this forum that is really important, if someone appreciates your post then they will give you merit as long as you deserve it.

Based on what I have read on some other threads, creating useful and creative posts could be the reason of gaining the merit and merit is really important because it shows how good are we in this forum, the higher the merit the better, it requires knowledge and experience to get more merits. Merits will be sent for only deserving people here.
Although Merits are usually sent to those who've posted something of higher quality, merit count doesn't make you superior/inferior to others. Your name will gain a better reputation throughout the journey you have on here regardless of the Merit count you have.

1. They are only here because of their own purposes, buying or selling bitcoin, getting into bounties, and asking some personal issues.
- if that is the case, then we cannot do something to help them to improve in this forum because of their personal reasons why they are here.
So if you ever had a problem with the selling/buying of BTC or some other personal issues and I told you to GTFO this forum you think it'd be fair? This is a forum with enough boards to cover everything you mentioned in the quote above, so why isolate these members from the community? If one wants to register solely for posting on Off-topic boards, why isolate them?

Nice thread mate, there are many reasons why people cannot create useful posts in this forum and you have pointed the main reasons of them because they are only here for some personal reasons, some are here, asking for help, asking on some advise and selling and buying bitcoin based on what you have said and it is all true because I am like that before I joined this forum before because I only want to ask something personal about my bitcoin wallet and then suddenly I enjoyed this forum because I have learned so many things here. There are so many active users in this forum that keeps participating quality posts here.

So I realized something why other people here do not create useful posts.
1. They are only here because of their own purposes, buying or selling bitcoin, getting into bounties, and asking some personal issues.
- if that is the case, then we cannot do something to help them to improve in this forum because of their personal reasons why they are here.
2. They don't know what and how to start, they don't know how to create a useful one.
