large companies and popular personalities can easily make use of the nft trend because theres always a guarantee that their nft item be sold at a high price but no need to be jelous because the profit for the nft sales are not going to their personal pocket but they  donate it for the people that are in need .
nft is useful than the meme and other past trends , i wish it will last more longer so that it can help more lives .
Well it will only help other people like what Coca Cola did here is for charity. But we seldom see this, majority of individuals or big entities entering the market thru NFT is to make profit out of it.

So we really appreciate what the company is doing here, they enter the market not for profit but the proceeds will go to charitable institutions. I just do hope that people are going to buy those NFT knowing that their money is of good cause and that they are willing to shell out big money out of their pockets.

It's a good strategy for Coca-cola and it will also affect NFTs positively. Events and adoptions like this attracts more users and it could enlighten more people aboutnthe real importance of NFTs. I hope that more big companies will do the same especially if it's for charities. It will be both beneficial for the company, its product and the NFT coin.
Moreover, this is an international scale, very broad. can attract a lot of attention from people outside the cryptocurrency ecosystem. this can invite more people to get to know cryptocurrencies, while also showing that there are many positive things that can be done with cryptocurrencies. even if it's a little, hopefully this can change the minds of people who are against crypto, and can make crypto adoption more widespread.

I hope it will get support from the community as it's not just about entering NFT because of crypto.

The purpose is very clear that it's for charity. According to the article, Coca-Cola will donate the proceeds from the auction to Special Olympics International - a sports organization aimed at ending discrimination against people with intellectual disabilities.

Nice move by the company.

Now the all big companies will involve in the crypto world to get profit, recently Amazon announced they will accept bitcoin but again they said we are not accepting bitcoins. I am sure one day Amazon will accept bitcoin and many more companies will involve in crypto.

NFT is the latest trend in cryptocurrency and many companies are rushing to adopt the idea.

I wouldn't call this adoption yet but it's cool, maybe they want to test it for their brand, just to show off that they know what's hot now, as they wouldn't need to raise money.
If this goes well i would see that in the future they could make competitions where prices are nfts. It wouldn't cost them almost anything but would interest the public.

More likely that would be fit for what they currently doing right now and they made it publicly, looks like they're planning something with this one. After all, they're one of those big-time companies that will benefit from the current situation of the crypto industry if they just want to take advantage of it. Surely this will not change the situation of the market but the point here is, they made sure that this one will be published, looks like they probably waiting for the people's feedback regarding it.

Hidden surprize - must be unlimited amount of coca cola during some period Smiley they will lose nothing with such surprize. Produce coca cola would not cost much for them, and nft owner wont drink thousands litter per year.

P.s. Why Pepsi is silent? They like to support sport too.

Interesting, it's a nice move from Coca-Cola soda.
The rejection by soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo caused him to lose several million.
I think it is the best time to enter this new world, good luck for the company...
you remind me of that incident, really bad luck for coca-cola "lol".  is this one of the signals that coca-cola will enter to crypto! however i still support them holding the NFT auction.  i'm sure they will definitely get big money from that auction

I did not expect such a large company to enter the nft market anytime soon, this really made me happy. It will go on sale on 30 July. I want to review these coca-cola nfts. I expect a visionary behavior from the coca cola brand to be as visionary from other brands.

I understand your point somehow but they are literally involved in putting their brand into this project so I would say it's adoption. They are a well-known company so it's safe to assume that they already thought of this well enough to put their logo into a digital art.

TBH, NFT is having another bullish trend as it’s already started earlier this year. But happy to see that global adoption is increasing day by day and good moves from Coca-Cola. Hopefully, vitalik won't drop the stock price just like Ronaldo did.  Grin Grin

The world's most popular soft drinks giant, Coca Cola has made an official announcement of getting into NFT (Nonfungible Tokens) to raise money for Special Olympics International. The NFT collections, created in partnership with digital designer Tafi, were “inspired by video-game loot boxes” and contain “hidden surprises” available only to those who purchase the artwork. A three-day auction for the Coca-Cola branded NFTs will commence on July 30.

“Each NFT was created to celebrate elements that are core to the Coca-Cola brand, reinterpreted for a virtual world in new and exciting ways,” said Selman Careaga.

From the news I read that the soft drink manufacturer will give the auction proceeds to Special Olympics International, a sports organization that aims to determine discrimination against people with intellectual disabilities. That in my opinion is a very good and commendable step, but I have not received any information about what goals, vision and mission they created.
I hope everything is okay.

They might entirely settle the project for charity motive, but meanwhile, they will also get branding and will make their brand on top of the consumer minds. There is no doubt such a big company make a smart move by being maximizing what is happening. The NFT markets and cryptocurrencies markets are gaining traction, there will be a lot of impression being made for the brand by marking the NFT with Coca-Cola.

there will be more big companies will be coming to adopt NFT. So many companies have been seeing NFT will be even bigger than defi project.
it seems like that another good news will be rolling out about big companies will be using NFT

Coca cola was making a very good move

Hope the meaning of the "hidden surprises" is what I'm thinking. Just wish it about safe things though.

I'm actually very much interested in NFT considering how much physical and virtual products can be backed by it in very decentralized and secure manner

This is getting interesting with each day, and just like that we are now in NFT trend and it's moving already. One of the factors which helps to push a trend is hype and adoption from either big players or big organizations, just like in the case of Meme coins/tokens where Elon musk channeled attention to Doge and it kicked off the Meme coin trend, and now Coca cola is getting involved with NFT which have the potential to start another massive trend.
Also, one of the good things about all these crypto trend is that, it helps to bring more attention to the crypto space which then results to more funds entering the market and maybe another bull run.
However, even at the midst of the hype and all whatnot people shouldn't be carried away and need to be careful of scam tokens which will start coming up sooner than later.

I wouldn't call this adoption yet
It is an adoption since NFTs are part of cryptocurrencies. We can think of most giant companies to have their own NFTs I guess it will boost the market entirely including the top coins since they're now becoming open to it.
Not all NFTs can be considered that part of cryptocurrencies, there are some and a lot of NFT right now that have no connection with cryptocurrency at all, which for me is bad especially it is extremely centralized, that's why NFT in the blockchain is the best feature, decentralization is there.

But this Coca-Cola NFT is in the Ethereum network and in the Decentraland, which for me is a very good choice. Choosing Ethereum is a good move.
Well you have a point that not all of them are crypto. But they all end up with the same description as cryptocurrencies. And for the most used network for making NFTs, it's always Ethereum.

There are also other competitors that can be the choice of these big companies but if they end up choosing Ethereum, they won't go wrong with it.
