It's actually a business and just like gambling, cockfighting is making a lot of money because a lot of people are hooked on it. That's why they're also capitalizing on the time that they've become a champion and selling their name to the other gamblers and whoever wants to get into this bloody animal sport. The customers will think that they're buying a premium just because the owner is able to make a rooster of his as a champion so, the breeding that he's made from that champion rooster will also be thought to be done to the ones that they're selling. It's a huge market for them but they don't mind anymore the blood, the killing that's happening while watching those.

And this is also made worse because there are several online gambling sites that broadcast live cockfighting and I saw that quite a lot of gamblers were betting there. And cockfighting can survive to this day because there are still many people who enjoy this entertainment and there are still many people who bet there, so the organizers will continue to maintain cockfighting because it can provide more profits for themselves. So apart from having to educate the public about how bad cockfighting is, we also need to educate the gamblers so that they stop betting there. Because if no one bets on cockfighting then inevitably they have to close down the activity.

A few days ago I saw a report about a trip to Madagascar. And there was a story about cockfighting and how some residents of this country, Madagascans, raise roosters for cockfighting. They really have many secrets and superstitions in such work. And this is exactly work, because by local standards a good fighting cock is expensive. And they sell such roosters.

And I thought that this tradition of cockfighting would continue to exist for many, many years in certain regions of the globe simply because it is a business for local residents and it would still not be possible for the government to simply ban such cruel entertainment. Honestly some people here in my country have the mindset that Cock fighting is a business from them and yes we can not deny the fact that they are earnings thounds or even millions, cause reason of when they are participating a big event then their cock is the champion then their name is become popular band once it will happen some gambler buy their rooster a big amount of money in order to have the same breeding. Which is the champion will take those opportunity to sell their rooster even though it's over pricings.

And cockfighting can survive to this day because there are still many people who enjoy this entertainment and there are still many people who bet there, so the organizers will continue to maintain cockfighting because it can provide more profits for themselves.
