A couple things to keep in mind about recovery of your funds:
a. The only way there is a chance of getting even a portion of the coins back is if the legal authorities find a wallet with them still in it.
  otherwise
b. The best you can hope for is getting back a portion of what the coins were worth in fiat at the time of loss. Asset recovery is NEVER based on current market value and will always be paid out in fiat.

Let me know what they say! Especially with it being a 12 year old claim! Careful, many will gladly take your money and also there are a lot of “recovery scammers” out there that claim to be able to help… after you pay them some $ up front of course (or the “lawyer” will say they got the coins back but you must pay them first).

I did look into it also, legally: A class action 12 years post incident is going to be brought against Statute of Limitations + other issues. Also, almost all courts will view the loss you incurred at the date the fraud happened, meaning in the eyes of the law you lost whatever the bitcoin was worth in 2013, not $300k, because you did not LOSE $300k. Sorry, but I don’t think it’s going to work-

I am in contact with a crypto lawyer and have forwarded them evidence.

I personally think that the Bitcoin price will surpass what it was before and hope that Bitcoin will get new users.

I lost 4.5 from CL and I like you had no interest in taking legal action 12 years ago (or even at 10k or 50k price). Probably the smartest move as I would have definitely sold way before current market value! But making the move to do something now means we can get the btc back at today’s prices!! Right?

I still have all the evidence plus some additional from digging recently into this more.   Going to contact lawyer I think they would be interested.  Class action?

I think when BTC hits 10k USD this particular BTC theft story is going to be one to watch!

What about when BTC hits 100K?  I lost 3.73168237 through inputs.io and coinlenders.

Was any lawsuits ever brought against TM?

I am looking to join in any any all lawsuits, I have much evidence collected as well.  I received zero refunds from TM.  Meeting with lawyer next week.

TF has not replied to my email as I want a settlement.
Did anyone get his email the past few weeks?

TF has been replying, unfavourably, and intermittently, to the emails I have been sending him. The last was received about 3 days ago from his glados account.

didn't he showed up in the forum?

Yes he's been logging on here. I personally had ~17BTC in coinlenders and desperate to get some back...

Is this lawsuit actually still happening?  I read several pages ago in the thread that Australian litigation funders aren't likely to fund this given the circumstances of what happened.

I'm pursuing this through the police.  I'll post updates in the thread below but it's a slow process.

People are still looking for TF, I bet he is in China now.

We have to bring him to justice!

How could we do it?
