Can some one answer the following questions that were asked by my nephew who is also into Crypto:
1. Why can't a coin other than bitcoin move independently from bitcoin? If bitcoin rises the alts drop, or if bitcoin drops, the alts also drop. Why not a coin will just move according independently from BTC and even surpass its value?
2. Will a coin be able to surpass the popularity of bitcoin?

I think it is interesting that they excluded the Korean prices, they are high, yes, but unfair to exclude them. Distorts the view on all things I think.
It wont balance the real value since korean exchange really have a higher value with the coins which is included from their service, lucky for those who able to sign up but reality we should relied to the active market and we shouldn't worry if we seen some downfall, yet we should be glad because opportunity is knocking to our door buying those bloody coins which have a good and promising updates to come. 
Look at the chart at every beginning of the year. Every coin is dump at january. Dont panic sell it will create new all time high in juny. And then dump a little again. However. It is still very bullish if we buy it last year. Also coinmarketcap remove korean volemu thats why the volume is not as big as before now..

Just calm down, it's a natural thing where maybe the price of the con will always go up, naturally if you feel panic and want to sell altcoin because you are afraid of loss, but try to be calm I also have some altcoin that suffered loss, but I'm optimistic it will be good only if I'm more patient

I don't think it is just a simple dump because I never seen anything like this before and the market cap value of crypto currency just fell into half in two days and it is created by the panic selling.But now the conditions turning into normal every coin is in green mark.Hopefully the capitalization of coinmarket cap will again reach $600B.As you said no need to afraid just hold and keep buying if you can because we knows that the price will recover soon if anything happened like this.And another thing is that every beginning of the year the price was dumped so it happened now also and the price is recovering.

Yeah, we are back, the correction was healthy, it scares of weak hands investors, we are here for long term.

This is what happen when you see people depend on noise for their trading decision, to good trader buy dip and sell high, I don't know why some people don't know that the market correction is coming Bitcoin when from 3k to 20k in few months
One of the gold rules of the trader is not to panic or give vent to fears. The market can not always grow. Calm, especially since this is not the first time.
It's too early to conclude that this is the end if cryptocurrency, I think this sell off is as a result of legislation news whether true or not has in some way caused this sell off and new investors are panicking and trying to withdraw their investments. But overall, things like this are expected and I believe market will come up again but when is what I don't knw
